Nice parking spots for one! The owners were super friendly and accommodating. The room was a mermaid 50s vibe which was great! Comfy beds with fluffy pillows and blankets for chilly nights. Little comfort touches all around. Loved it!

The Husband and Wife running the inn are amazing and easy to talk to. I got distracted at a old fort we stopped at and where running late for check in. They made it easy to get in the room and settled even at the late hour. Appreciate you! Room was quite, clean, and cozy. Loved the Mermaid beach vibes and retro appliances.
It had an older vibe and that smell you sometimes get with older buildings. But nothing that aggravated my asthma. It was surprisingly well kept, and nothing worn. The shower was tiny and a bit of a challenge to keep the water in it with the shower curtain not having any extra fabric. Not a deal breaker, just could be a challenge for viking sized adults or those wanting shared shower time.

So comfortable. Everything is decorated so beautifully. Excellent location close to Everything but yet not in the busiest part of town
Little store next door was very convenient.
We stayed at a pricier place the night before and didn't like it near as much, being on the beach was nice, but The Mermaid will be our preferred place from now on...loved our stay.
Our only "complaint " which we aren't really was the light through the shade at night. I really struggle to sleep unless its completely dark, but that is nothing really

Terrible musty mold smell
Coughed all night, they know about it as they over compensate for the cleaning solutions
