Very clean property and friendly staff

The location had a lot of construction workers staying here. When we went down for the breakfast at 7:30 AM all the food at already been eaten and was not refilled, so we left to go to a restaurant..

Nothing. Could not wait to leave the next morning.

The rooms were filthy and musty smelling (we saw the inside of two rooms). The first room we checked into was obviously uncleaned. The second room we received after notifying the desk attendant wasn't much better, but we were tired and endured it. I should note that the desk attendant did not apologize for the filthy condition of the first room or for the inconvenience we experienced in moving our belongings to a different room. The furnishings and carpet were old and outdated. The restrooms smelled of urine and were not cleaned well, if at all. Some belongings of the previous guest were left in the first room. Food items (french fries and a piece of hamburger) from the previous guest were left on the carpet in the second room we received. The rooms obviously are not being cleaned well, if at all. The curtains were missing from the room window. The elevator floor buttons do not correspond to room floor numbers written on key cards (we received a card with a room presumably on the fourth floor, but there was no button for a fourth floor, only buttons for three floors and a lower level). We realized we had to press the 3rd floor button. "Eggs" on the complimentary breakfast bar were mostly liquid (barely cooked). The sausage patty served had an awful smell (did not eat). Complimentary coffee and hot water canisters placed out for guests were mostly empty. To his credit, the desk attendant did refill the hot water canister when he saw that it was empty. The air outside of the hotel smelled strongly of manure when we left the next morning. We never experienced anything like this at a hotel. I am surprised this location is allowed to continue using the Choice Hotels brand. We stopped here because we have had very good experiences with Choice Hotels. However, this particular location does not reflect well on the company in our opinion.

Everything the first 6 days my daughter have her baby in chambersburg when we are visiting

When i paid for another night on Thursday they give me the room dirty and the guy at the front desk doesn’t care the smell is horrible i cant sleep with my kids the shower are nasty

Nothing!

They didn’t even have the rooms I booked available. They offered me two used unclean rooms to make up for it! No thanks! Staff was rude too, the desk help came across as sexist when they kept telling me he wanted to speak with my husband and not me! So disappointed!

Accommodations in the room fridge, microwave.
