It was very spacious for my family and not a far drive from local stores, camp Edison and shaver lake.

Cleaning could have been a little better as far as dust and cob webs.

It took us two hours to find the correct entry gate that they sent on message with instructions. After driving for 4 hours from the Bay area with 4 kids, this was very frustrating. And each time we contacted the 24/7 support (around 20min on hold each time) they also didn't know how to help us find the place. I left the car and started walking to find the cabin, and only then, was able to find the right vehicle access. Because of this, we did not have enough time to enjoy the pool or the sunset on the lake that day, and when we asked for a late checkout, Vacasa told us no. The cabin in general is nice. The couches are dirty and the three beds in the living room are actually located up in an attic that you need to climb a ladder to get to, so small kids and the elderly have no way of sleeping up there.

It was a nice place just a few dirty dishes in the dishwasher and dirty marks on walls. Dirty washcloth in shower. Cigarettes butts on ground under decks

Cold restrooms?

Location is good, good towel supply. Lots of family games

beds uncomfortable, not very clean, cob webs in all windows no a/c units in any rooms and only 1 fan blew any substantial air, box fan. Unit very hot due to high temperatures. Had no hot water one morning but took 5 hours for someone to respond. Apparently water line broke in town so got it back in evening. Had a bat in the unit, called and was told we'd get answer in 30 minutes. Didn't hear back for 2 days. Kids afraid to go in room where bat was so all slept in one room. Finally got my nephew to come and remove bat.

The WiFi stopped working the second day. The cable stopped working too.

location and disposition of the cabin was perfect, Don't have anything more to add here.

From investment perspective the property would need some extra investments into the windows as lot of heat got lost through there. Also it would help to reduce the noise from the main road underneath. Don't know about the latest results of the asbestos treatment in the water and it would be probably fair to mention that in the description .
