Iboih Inn far exceeded my expectations. It's a magical place with incredible views, amazing snorkeling and diving, and warm, family-like hospitality. The hosts make you feel like they have invited you into their home and help take care of all your needs. They provided a wide range of freshly prepared and delicious meals and helped us book taxies and ferry rides. The half-day snorkeling trip offered by the hotel included visits to several different locations that had amazingly diverse sea life (I've snorkeling and dived all over the world and this is one of my favorite spots). Sitting on the dock in front of the hotel, looking out at the natural beauty, was an amazingly peaceful and transporting experience.

The owners, Saliza and her husband, went far beyond hospitality — they made us feel like family from day one. They personally organized boat tours (dolphins, coral reefs, snorkeling, an underwater volcano) at our own pace, with real care. Breakfast was homemade by Saliza every morning with organic ingredients from their own garden, different and wonderful each time. The bungalows were simple but very clean, the gardens well maintained, and the location on a quiet hill just a five-minute walk from the village, away from any crowds. We left with tears in our eyes saying goodbye — a truly rare connection.

Honestly, nothing — the only downside is that we didn’t want to leave.
