The Front Desk staff were AMAZING. We lost my wife's notebook on a cab and they helped us find the cab company, contacted them, arranged a cab to take us there to recover the lost item, and were overall wonderful. Top Marks!
Please practice Western-style eggs for breakfast. The omelet was good, the scrambled eggs need more work. Please include more bacon and sausage options. It was very good.

Location nearly opposite the castle is fantastically convenient. Staff super friendly and the hotel is immaculately tidy and well run. Dining room in the cavernous former bank building is Very quirky and rooms are modern, comfortable and very functional.

The hotel is ok, yet not above average. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable.
Yet, compared to other Japanese hotels it lacks amenities. For example the hotel has no microwave for its customers. So if you happen to buy food at a convenience store and would like to heat it, that is not possible.
The rooms are small and there is no common room like in some other Japanese hotels.
Generally the facility seems a bit dated.
