ibis Styles Les Houches Chamonix

The staff was super kind.

There was a bit of humidity smell in the room but nothing intolerable

Nice room, nice balcony, nice staff, nice food in the restaurant when it was open. Nice view from the balcony

End of season so everything in the area was closed. We had to drive to Chamonix to eat as hotel restaurant was closed 2 of the days. We hadn't realised but Les touches us a fair distance from Chamonix centre (not walkable)

Comfy rooms. Good breakfast. Nice staff.

Check-in was efficient; breakfast was adequate; left luggage facility was very useful.

There was a heatwave in France. Despite assurances that the weather would cool in the night, the room remained warm. Understand that there is no air-conditioning but not even a fan! Room was quite small, had a bed and towels. That was it! It was the highest price we paid for accommodation during our one-month trip - to be somewhat fair, it was because there was a big event in Chamonix - but the lowest in terms of value. A portable fan, a vending machine for drinks, ice-machine...some simple additions would have moved the needle significantly.
