After booking this place for four nights (non refundable) we honestly were a bit sceptical because of some of the bad reviews. I normally don't write extensive reviews but really feel like I want to clear some stuff up about this place. Note: we stayed in the one bedroom apartement of 42m2 which according to the description has 1 large double bed and 1 sofa bed (it actually has 2 large double beds). This is apartment 1. We cannot speak for any of the other apartments. We are two not too picky travelers, who visited this area for a trailrunning race - so a comfortable apartment for our preperations and recovery was essential. And this place was absolutely perfect. Is it a 10/10 stay? No. Could the owners improve the comfort of this apartment significantly by for example having dishwashing towels, a squeegee for the shower and fixing the wobbly fridge? Yes definitely. But are all the 1.0/2.0 star ratings fair? No - you get exactly what you book and what you can expect from staying above a pizza & BBQ bar. Which actually is a huge pro: the food is delicious! Thank you Apartments Bedanc!

Having read through other reviews before booking, we wanted to share our own experience with a few of the commonly mentioned concerns. Bathroom: There is a slight smell in the bathroom, which we noticed occasionally when using the toilet or brushing our teeth. Simply keeping the door closed prevents it from spreading to the rest of the apartment. After showering the bathroom floor does get really wet, but a quick wipe with a towel takes care of it in under a minute. Stairs: We found the stairs to be entirely standard, nothing steep or difficult about them. Kitchen: The kitchen is basic but functional, and we were able to prepare simple meals without issue. Dishwashing supplies weren't provided, but the grocery store is just a five-minute walk away, so this was easy to resolve. Water pressure and temperature: We experienced no problems with either during our stay. Air conditioning: There's no AC, but temperatures were around 20°C during our visit and the room stayed comfortable. We'd imagine it could get warm during peak summer months, so this is worth keeping in mind if you're traveling in hot weather. Towels and linens: Ours were clean and in good condition. Refrigerator: It worked well throughout our stay. The regriferator is a bit wobbly, so it just needs to be closed with a bit of care. Dust under the beds: Maybe, not sure? But does this really affect the comfort of your stay? Soundproofing: We didn't hear any noise from neighboring guests. Noise: The apartment is located above a pizza and BBQ bar, so music is played during the day. It's kept at a reasonable volume and stops once the restaurant closes. If you're sensitive to this, then is worth factoring in, but we didn't find it disruptive.

Die Lage war sehr gut. Es war sauber und sehr freundliches Personal. Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Perfektes W-lan. gute Lage für Bergfreunde. Ideal für den Winter, da Lift vor der Türe. Schlüssel in Schlüsselsafe einfach erreichbar.

Alles sehr eng. Gerade 2 Teller, 2 Tassen alles abgezählt. Keine Mikrowelle oder Backofen oder Toaster. Die Nachbarn waren sehr laut - sehr dünne Wände. Kein Lift - schmale Treppe zum Quartier.

Die Lage war absolut perfekt.

On first look, aparment looked nice and modern, the restaurant made delicious meals

The room is right next to the entrance to the restaurant, so all guests are going right next to your only window and door. If you want some fresh air, you need to let them look in. Also, the restaurant`s restroom shares a wall with the room, so every time someone is drying their hands, you will hear it. The cold water in the bathroom washing basin was not working; we found out it was turned off. When we turned it on, we found out why it was off - it was leaking all over the bathroom.
