the value for money is amazing: the staff are extremely nice and helpful, the breakfast is tasty and big and it's literally 5mins away from the beach. one of the cleanest places we've been to. there's also a fridge available to guests which is amazing given the high temperatures.
the neighbor's barking dog ;) the mattresses could have been more comfortable but it doesn't affect the overall extremely positive impression

Lovely place, really nice family that were very helpful. Clean and near the beach, highly recommended, you'll be looked after well for a very fair price too.

The family that owns this guest house is extremely kind, friendly and hospitable. They are always ready to help and solve any problem if you ask. The location of the guest house is perfect, it is 100 meters from the beach, there are lots of shops not far away, where you can buy fruits, snacks, water, recharge your SIM card and etc. In the guest house you can be provided with breakfast, if you need a transfer from/to airport - just tell about it, and the personal of the guest house will arrange it.
We are extremely lucky to find such a place, and we are ready to come back next time again!

I recommend this place 100%. Located close to the beach and the main road with a lot of shops and restaurants. The terrace is perfect for a workout or Yoga session. Everything is sparkling clean.
The owners were so lovely and helpful, I felt like home.
I also had Dinner there, which was so so so delicious.

Basic rooms but comfortable and clean. We paid an extra few dollars for the AC. Nice seating area on the balcony where you can sit and have a drink or chat to other guests. Uthpala the host is amazing. She speaks perfect English and is always smiling and happy to assist with anything you need. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. It’s very close to the beach.
The road is very nosy with the horns from the buses and tuktuks if you are in the front bedrooms. But quieter between 11pm-6am.

The hosts were simply wonderful. They were polite and always had a smile on their face. A real highlight of our stay. We were even given a bracelet and small money pouch as a gift when we left. Lovely, lovely people.
It didn’t affect us because we came prepared with earplugs, but the front bedrooms are noisy. There is fairly consistent traffic, coupled with air con and a fan that ticked. None of that mattered with our ear plugs, but come prepared.

Nice, clean room, close to the beach, great, friendly and attentive owners, excellent breakfast options and possibility of ordering very tasty traditional homemade srilankan dishes for dinner

Friendly hosts who speak English fluently and were very helpful. Room is basic but ok. Close to the beach and city center. Even though it's located on the main road we didn't really have any troubles with noise during the night.

Very good location - just in the opposite of the bus station in unawatuna. 1 min walking distance to the beach. Lots of restaurants and bars around!

Hosts aber super friendly and welcoming and speak good English! We even stayed a night longer and would’ve stayed even longer if it was possible :)
Great accommodation!
Only thing was that there was no mosquito net and we got attacked by a mosquito in the night ... other than that everything was just perfect!

This was our second to last stay of our 3 week trip in Sri Lanka and was our favourite so far!
The room was spacious, has great air-conditioning, balcony and the best shower we've had in Sri Lanka!
Location is perfect, bus stop outside and less than 5 minutes walk to beach.
The family were so welcoming and spoke fantastic English, really lovely people. They couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was delicious offering both traditional Sri Lankan food and Western options with great Coffee.
When we left we were given a parting gift which was the icing on the cake.
Couldn't recommended staying here enough.
