Zurabashvili Guest House

We highly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is clean and conveniently located. We were able to park our car nearby. The highlight is the great view from the balcony. It was lovely to sit here in the evening and drink delicious homemade wine as well as have our good breakfast here. Above all, the host was very friendly and welcoming. She even helped us with an issue with our car. Thank you for the great stay :)

Lovely guesthouse in the city of love with an amazing view of the valley. It was really nice to sit on the swinging chair on the balcony and read in the afternoons when it was hot. Anna, the owner, was kind and gracious. Her husband’s family makes good wine and they had it available to taste and buy; the breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

It’s definitely a bit of a climb to get anywhere and Google Maps had a hard time - didn’t show that the side streets connected to the main streets, so my taxi got confused and had a hard time getting me there.

Anna war eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin und sehr um unser Wohl bemüht. Das üppige Frühstück mit vielen Dingen aus dem eigenen Garten bekamen wir auf der Terrasse. Von dort hatten wir einen atemberaubenden Blick bis hin zum Kaukasus...ein Traum. Das Zimmer war einfach aber groß und hatte eine eigene Dusche. Von Annas Haus waren es nur wenige Schritte bis ins Zentrum.

Eigentlich hat uns alles gefallen. Dass sich die Hunde in der Nacht einen Wettbewerb im Bellen geliefert haben, das passiert halt auf dem Land schon mal.

This guest house is in the centre of Sighnaghi and has a lovely balcony with comfy chairs, a table for dining and amazing views over the valley. The kitchen had everything you might need, beds are comfortable, and each room has a separate lock.

The bathroom facilities are not great - the en suite shower did not drain, and the main shower had a large crack and hole in its floor, barely covered by a little bath mat. Also, the host charged us double a regular price for breakfast (more than we paid for the flat itself!) and seemed to always be around the flat, which meant shared areas such as the balcony were a bit more difficult to enjoy. Although perhaps her intentions were good, it felt pressuring - just so other visitors are aware.
