Cet hôtel a été un havre de paix pour nous. Peu de chambres donc très calme, le personnel est au petit soin pour ses clients! La vue depuis les chambre est extraordinaire (avec vu sur le lever du soleil). La vue sur la lagune est sublime. On nous met à disposition gratuitement des hamacs, chaises longues, des gilets de sauvetage et des canoes. Le petit déjeuner (non inclu) est réellement le meilleur que j'ai mangé de toute mes vacances! Et l'hôtel peut réserver pour des prix vraiment correct des activités comme faire du jetski (on viendra vous récupérer directement sur le ponton de l'hôtel!).

Le lieu est très calme, au bord d'une lagune magnifique. Kayak à disposition. Prestataires très proches pour faire des balades sur la lagune. Horacio est très serviable et gentil ainsi que le reste du personnel. A disposition le matin du café et/ou thé. Les petits déjeuners sont en supplément. Très propre.

Petit coin de paradis, très paisible, avec un accès direct au lagon. Possible de s’y baigner et d’aller faire un tour en canoe pour le sunrise ou le sunset. 2 cenotes du lagon sont accessibles rapidement depuis l’eau. Horacio est très serviable et amical. Parking sécurisé, le centre est à 5min en voiture ou à 20min à pied mais plusieurs restaurants sont accessibles rapidement notamment Punta Corcho avec un très bon ceviche chaud.

The location is perfect. Close to everything, but still very peaceful. The rooms are great. The host family is always around and very helpful.

Incredible view over the lagoon. Hotel has been there for 20 years, atmosphere is very cozy and staff is very friendly and helpful also for ordering taxis or booking a sailing trip (which is a must do). Rooms have a personal touch and hammock on the balcony was great. The dock is amazing to watch the sunrise.

House exists for over 20 years, so not the most modern standards. It’s located next to the town center, but always takes 20 minutes to get to the city center.

L'emplacement est superbe avec une vue magique sur la lagune. Horacio qui gère l'hôtel est adorable et de bon conseil. Rosi qui fait le ménage est tout aussi gentille. La literie est confortable. C'est un endroit parfait pour se reposer.

La salle de bain est clairement à rénover. Brosse pour les toilettes sale, rouille sur la douche, porte abîmée, toiles d'araignée... Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré. C'est dommage car ces 2 éléments font que je ne peux pas mettre un "10". Du coup le rapport qualité-prix devient moyen.

This small and authentic hotel in a beautiful setting was perfect for our family. Our bedroom had an extra big double bed, a single bed and a second pull out double bed, a fridge, a safe and opened onto a balcony with direct access to the garden and lake. The staff is friendly and helpful. Coffee, tea and water are freely available at all times. Tasty breakfast options can be purchased. The pontoon is perfect for relaxing and swimming. We used the Kayaks for a stunning sunrise outing. We loved our stay here!

Excellent hotel. Our room had a balcony with a view of the lake. Room was big and breakfast was great. Staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. Location was perfect with lots of restaurants nearby.

Everything was wonderful.

Lovely apart hotel (or home stay as thats what it felt like) Right on the lake was a bonus, the staff where lovely and always on hand to help. The room was basic but clean, The kids loved the varander with the hammock and it was a short walk to the centre. Also parking available which was a plus. You had tea making facilities down on the communal area which was nice and if you wanted you could order breakfast from there.

We knew the rooms where basic, which seemed the charm in bacalar as lots where the same. But my kids found it to basic compared to other areas we had been. The bed was very sqeeky, any movement caused it to make noise.

Fantastic stay, this is definitely not a party place and this is exactly what we needed, a comfortable and spacious room with beautiful view, only 3 steps away from the lake. Horatio is the owner/host and he is so warm and welcoming. You can even take kayaks for free, there are four kayaks available in the hotel. All you need to do is wake up early before someone else takes them. 😊 It really is a magical space for all of those who want to relax and chill and enjoy the beautiful Bacalar Lagoon.

Everything was great. We only struggled to find proper coffee in town 😊 because we like Italian espressos.

The hotel offers great views of the Laguna, a relaxing balcony with a hammock, free kayaks, friendly staff (Horacio), and a good size fridge with the option to use plates and bowls.

The outdated bathroom and disappointing swimming experience off the dock due to muddy grounds, waves, and slippery stairs.

Great lakeshore location. Staff really helpful . This included arranging excellent sailing trip with the super team of Jorge and Suzie. Short and safe walk to town square in the evening

The owner/manager (speaking Spanish and English) was welcoming and utterly helpful, as was all staff. The location is amazing. The hotel offers kayaks to its guests so that you can get out on the water at any time. Location and view are dream-like. The place is calm and allows listening to nature. The perfect place to get away from the noisy party tourism that is common to the Riviera Maya.

everything about our stay here was wonderful. the location was fantastic with a most beautiful view of the lake. the staff were helpful and friendly. it was lovely to have complementary kayaks! I will book here again.

Fantastic location. Free use of kayaks. Easy to reach pirates canal, Bacalar, 3 cenotes, bird islands by kayak... Common area for tea, coffee, oven. Ideal for breakfast or lazy dinner with sea view. Easy walk to Albahaca for great and friendly lunch (or breakfast) or Selva for dinner.

they offer kayaks, paddel boards, free coffe and tea in the morning, awesome wooden moat… perfect view and great to see all 7 bacalar colours

location was great- the deck beautifull as well as the views from the room. it is located 25 min walk from the city center.

the only cons is, that if you arrive before 8am (with a night bus eg.) you need to wait on the street. we’ve been waiting for 3 hours even though I informed the hotel & talked to the owner. if it wasn’t for that, it would be 10/10.
