Rotana is an established brand and has certain standards. The beds were comfortable for example. The staff is supportive and helpful. The buffet is rich and of good quality.
They gave us a room in an old part of the hotel, which was not on the same level as the rooms of all our friends in the new hotel building. I didn't understand why. The first room they gave us was terrible, as clearly the previous guests had smoked heavily in it. The buffet is rich and of good quality but it is overpriced.

The hotel is so nice we booked an extra night. Room is spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean. But the thing that really makes your stay so special is the staff, they can not do enough for you and are always smiling. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
