Phivos Hotel

Everything the staff were lovely and the rooms were amazing

Good location: Great location very close to the west coast, close location to very lovely beaches and lots of nice bars and restaurants. Great parking: The hotel itself was satisfactory, good amount of parking although we went in the off season so I imagine in the one season it will get busy. Nice staff members: very friendly and got you checked in quickly and helped out where necessary. Towel hire: towel hire for the beach was available for a flat fee of 5 euros per person. Room: good nice large room with comfortable beds and bedding

Showers: The shower room effectively turned into a wet room after any showers and would remain very wet for a long time Floors: after a day of the beach, even if you tried to avoid bringing in sand, it would be difficult to avoid sand in the property all together. The floors were not vacuumed daily so sand would accumulate and become very gritty and together with the wet floor of the bathroom it was slightly uncomfortable but manageable.

Pool was a nice size and never struggled for sunbeds ! Pool bar very good prices and I recommend the club sandwich ! The staff were so lovely and kind with rooms cleaned daily! Shop and bakery within a minutes walk Room was nice and spacious with A/C Location fab bus stop right outside that can take you to Corfu town or into the center of paleokastritsa , it doesn’t have a set time table so you can be waiting a while Acapulco pool beach bar down the road was an absolute gem I recommend visiting there !!

Only went in the pool once as it had lots of dead bugs / wasps floating in it everyday so we opted for the sea most days instead ! The walls were very thin you could hear your neighbours very clearly and we unfortunately had very loud neighbours so some nights sleep was not pleasant and there seemed to be an electric hum that would turn on and off throughout the night that was quite disruptive too but wouldn’t occur during the day so who knows what that was.

The view with the surrounding mountain is very beautiful. Every main beach and famous spot in this area is nearby. Close to restaurants and supermarket The bathroom was nice, probably newly reconstructed. Free parking

The room in real life was more run down as it was on the photos. Upon arrival the air conditioner was leaking water inside the room and a bug also crawled out of it. The staff killed the bug and solved the problem with the AC. The mattress is old and very uncomfortable, also a bit stinky. The walls are very thin and there is noise all night. Wi-Fi is very weak in the room, on the balcony it is fine. The cleaning staff left once fully open the balcony after the cleaning and our room was on the ground floor. This was very risky as we had all our belongings in the room and we came back only in the evening.
