Hôtel Le Peu Breton

Our favorite part of the hotel were the grounds and the pool. Definitely felt like we were on vacation. Breakfast was nice, but there is also a fantastic boulangerie/patisserie in town (walking distance). Loved the location. Staff was helpful in recommending restaurants and getting us reservations when suggested. Bed was comfortable. Dog friendly, easy parking, and bike rentals were a big plus for us!

Since there is no air conditioning, and we were traveling in August, we wanted to keep our windows open to let in the sea breeze (which was lovely). However, our room overlooked the pool so we could hear everything being said at the pool, as well as at night in the other rooms. Luckily, we have a white noise app on our phones to somewhat drown out the noise/voices from other guests. We needed to keep our windows open for cool air at night. Room decor was dated and felt a bit random. Every room seemed different in this aspect. For example, our closet and interior doors were purple. It was still a nice place overall to stay in Ile de Re.

The breakfast was quite nice besides the fruit salade.

Room 7 is really small for 3 people. There were ants in the room already when we arrived to welcome us. The breakfast is all in all nice but the fruit salade was partially from canned fruits partially from fresh ones, pity!

The garden and pool were nice and parking was an asset

Everything closed at 8pm all staff gone and nowhere to relax as only bed in the bedroom.
