The staff were super friendly! We booked this very last minute based on availability and were happy it was in the middle of all the action and right on the beach. It's more of a motel on the beach than a hotel/resort, it needs huge renovation, a few million to upgrade, but we were already in vacation mode, going with the flow, and it was fine for a couple nights.
a/c issues, the place is falling apart but we didn't care. We crashed here a couple nights before moving islands. the location was great, the staff were friendly, so we didn't care too much about the state of the hotel/motel itself. When in Thailand, just go with the flow.

They are taking 1000 Baht as cash security deposit after arrival but they return it once they verify the things on checkout

You definitely pay for pool view and locations. If you are going for full moon party it is the perfect location with a lovely pool to chill at. Short walk from the walking street. Beach access is nice especially for sunrise!
The rooms are very outdated and for the price not worth it. There were multiple cockroaches in two of our rooms and the beds were very uncomfortable. The doors on the first floor are very hard to open and also have a gap in them so our room became warm very quickly.
