We loved the arriving hospitality with Olivia greeting us to explain everything about the house and how to reach her if anything came up. The house was filled with local Azorean products to try like milk, tea, cheese, butter and jams. It also had fresh bread delivered every morning of our stay and we were there for six nights. One morning we set off the alarm because of our toast and the response was immediate to help us shut it off. They clearly have thought of everything including towels for the well-known thermal pools throughout the island. We loved the place and would definitely stay again and recommend the booking. Very nice place. Despite very late arrival (due to flight delays we arrived at 2am, in the middle of night) the owner was waiting for us, to let us in! She showed us everything in the apartament and gave instructions about self checkout.

The location was really great and my god, the view was amazing. Being able to watch the sunrise with a nice cup of local tea on the terras at 7am was incredible. The place was very clean. The local service was amazing, the host was very friendly and attendful. We locked ourselves out and within 20minutes someone was present to help us out.

The place was very humid and it was difficult to ventilate the accomodation. The place is also in need of some maintenance (loose focet in the bathroom, toilet buttom came off).

the parking is tight if they're fully booked. we had to park on the street, but not too far so this was only a minor inconvenience. We had beautiful window weather, but no screens so we had to decide between bug bites or being too warm.

Positioned on the far east edge of the island, the Aldeia do Priolo houses offer fantastic views across the oceans. We even spotted dolphins on the hunt on our first morning —it doesn’t get better than that. The house itself is spacious, clean and offers everything you need —incl. top wifi and satellite tv… Having your own patio with an outdoor grill is an added bonus!

It’s not a criticism, but travellers need to be aware that the accomodation is in one of the more remote and quiet places on the island. There are a few smaller shops and the occassional snack bar, but that’s about it… Nevertheless, the views, beautiful nature and impressive coastline more than make up for it.

Breakfast of fresh bread delivered every morning and locally produced butter, cheese, milk and jam in the fridge. Our flight from Cape Verde was unexpectedly canceled and we got in much later than we anticipated. They were extremely accommodating to come meet us and get us settled when we arrived. Fast communication, excellent service. Also were very good about communicating the right directions as it's a little tricky to find. Loved everything about our stay, can't wait to go back!

Wish our flight hadn't been delayed so we had more time in this location. Totally out of their control lol. Just wish we had more time to enjoy.

Peaceful surroundings and a magnificent ocean view down the road.

The apartment is really cozy and calm. The staff was really nice and they react immediately if you need anything. You get some free bread, butter and jam and otherwise you can cook there or make a barbecue. The location is not super central,but it has some viewpoints close to it and you can reach everything within 1.5 h.

It was our second stay and the weather enabled us this time to enjoy it fully. The master bed is gigantic, although it is twin, not double, and it lacks parting between the living room area and the bedroom which I somehow missed when booking a larger Aldeia this time. Comfortable blackout blinds to sleep well and a spectacular view and patio entrance, but it was cold at night so extra heaters and a set of blankets are a brilliant solution. Fresh bread in the morning and upon arrival the fridge was waiting with milk, butter, jam and cheese. There was also juice and ham last time. Black towels for the thermal pools are provided and smell gorgeous, there is a blender in the kitchen which was great to make soup for the baby. We were helped with the laundry so it was also a great bonus. There are plenty of cats and a goat, so kids enjoyed it, a neatly trimmed Hortensias in the common area with a gigantic terrace covered by a party tent to eat outside. A well functioning grill with wood and a spectacular view. Everything is super cosy and makes the stay worth every minute spent there. O Forno in the nearby village has great pastelaria and Praia da Lombo Gordo and the Farol are great sites to see.

The bathroom was mouldy and damp which made the kids reluctant at first. I had to clean it and air it well to make sure it was usable. We informed of our ETA and was exactly on time but had to wait for another 30min or so for the host to arrive. Miscommunication. The sofa was not made and the sheets were hidden in the bed and stank (same as bathroom). As we were tired and travelling with kids so it was an extra thing to do which could have been made after all the adventures we had prior to arrival. Plastic covers on the pillows are strange. The neighbour guests were extremely loud at night - walls are thin.

Clean and everything we needed was there. Easy access to the parks and walks around the area. A sweet bright little cottage with character.

Unfortunately the only thing that would stop us from coming back was the neighbour. We went there for peace and quiet and we had a shared garden - the lady would not stop talking even to draw breath so in the end we did not use the garden as we needed some peace and quiet. Yes of course we understand people are sometimes lonely but we just needed some time out. The smell of cat pee out side was also a bit off putting from her 20 or so cats.

Ideal getaway for a longer stay away of the crowd. Great view, all you need is there and the hosts were exceptionally helpful in fascilitating our stay there. Loved it. And the view!

It is a small house on a village with garden and with sitting outside. The house was clean and nice furnished. If you are looking for a quite place, this is best for you. When you arrive, you will find in the fridge local milk, butter, chesse and jams and every day you will get fresh buns. That was really great. A van, which offers meat or fishes, arrives in the village once per week.

Twice per our stay a fire alarm started to beep (once at 3am) due to power cut and there is no way how to stop it. You can just wait untill electricity works again. Services (shops, restaurants) are very limited in this part of the island. In the village and even nearby villages are only small shops. For better offer you need to travel to Ribeira Grande or to Povoacao. We visited a restaurant recommended by our host (Restaurante Tronqueira), but we were not satisfied. The advantage in comparison to Ponta Delgada is, that you do not need a reservation to get in a restaurant (In Ponta Delgada there is no chance without reservation).

The views of our apartment called “Casa da Vista” were amazing! The fresh bread in the morning hanging on the door and the facilities were very much appreciate it.

Whole accommodation was great. Bed was perfect, we slept very well. We had fresh bread every day with some local products for breakfast.

We have spent our first three days on the island in and around Nordeste. The accommodation was a perfect spot the have a rest at the beginning of our holiday. It is silent and the large garden is the best place to have large breakfasts or barbecue at the evening, from where you have a breathtaking view to the ocean. Our flat was nice and fully equipeed. Our gests waited us with local specialities like tea, cheese and marmalade, furthermore they offered fresh bread every morning :) Such a nica way of hospitality :) It is a perfect place for couples groups and families as well.
