It was right near the beach. I texted Em who arranged to get my washing done. The place was clean and the a/c works well. There’s a small fridge in the room. The family that own it are very nice and you get a free breakfast. I like waking up and going for a swim in the ocean. It’s a one minute walk to the beach. Beach loungers are free. There is a hair dryer.

Bathroom is a bit dark and there was some shampoo but you need to bring your own toiletries. The court yard downstairs is shared and you have to walk through to get upstairs, so I’d take the upstairs place.

The location of this homestay is perfect. The room itself is tucked away in a quiet location with the beach and breakfast restaurant just metres away. The Dolphin Restaurant is where many people come to spend the day on the sun lounges but you get to experience the beach before and after the day guests leave. It really is very relaxed and nothing is too much trouble for host Em. It is walking distance to many other bars, restaurants and massage places (BB’s Spa across the road is brilliant). I also partook in the Yoga next door- it’s a Bikram Yoga studio. We hired scooters through Em, did our laundry and organised airport transfers. The whole stay was effortless and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
