Borinquen Thermal Resort

Grounds were beautiful, pool and hot springs were excellent.

Beds and pillows were hard

A lot of green space, the rooms are very nice and clean, the thermal water experience is great and there’s a lot of wildlife to see

Bumpy road to get there

In the hills, isolated but in an area renowned for its thermal pools and mud we found the hotel better than the photos and a lovely place to spend a few days. You will smell the natural sulphur in the air and the rooms are spread out over the hills so you will get your steps in or call for a ride. The pool is wonderful and the monkeys a treat. The thermal pools are interesting and the mud an experience (wish there had been a bit more info on how/why to use the facilities). The breakfast was top notch - à la carte and served on an open air restaurant with lovely choices. The restaurant is also where we ate dinner and the service was great and dinner delicious. Overall a great place, not too far from the airport with a vehicle, up-around some very bumpy and windy roads and a great time was had.

Mittelmässiges Essen, qualitativ und Auswahl. Hohe Preise, und man ist abhängig vom Hotelservice. Wenn die Qualität stimmt kein Problem, was hier allerdings nicht der Fall war.
