Brayka Bay Reef Resort

Unbeatable house reef snorkeling and amazing view from my room, backed by great customer service! I had a great stay at Brayka Bay Resort. The facilities are decent, and while the free Wi-Fi was a bit unstable at times, the overall experience made up for it. The food was fine, but what really stood out was the incredible view from our room. The highlight of the resort is undoubtedly the snorkeling right off the beach. The water is very calm, making it easy to swim. On the north side, we saw an amazing variety of marine life, including pipefish, moray eels, sea turtles, and rays! The south side features a really beautiful coral reef. As for logistics, the check-in and check-out service and luggage assistance were excellent. The team was very welcoming and flexible with an early check-in, which helped us immensely. Arrival with an external taxi was smooth. However, due to resort rules during check-out, external taxis were not allowed inside, so I had to walk to the main gate, a small inconvenience, but good to keep in mind. Overall, a wonderful choice for snorkeling lovers and great hospitality!

Good location near to reef, big beach, good entertainment team, reasonable price, good service, good food. Amazing choice for diving.

Essen war sehr gut. Super Koch. Sehr abwechslungsreich und großes Angebot. Personal, vor allem das Reinigungspersonal der Zimmer war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam, hilfsbereit, fleißig, gründlich. Mohamad von Block 6 war absolut super. Immer eine positive Stimmung, immer super seine Arbeiten gemacht, immer eine neue Zauberei mit seinen Falttechniken der Handtücher parat gehabt. Auch die Pfleger der Anlage waren sehr freundlich und unterhalten das Anwesen super.

Mir persönlich war die Anlage viel zu groß, aber wer All in one so mag, okay. Der kleine Laden für Souvenirs… bisschen arg überteuert.

This was my second visit to Brayka resort. I paid for higher quality room this time. I like the facilities - restaurants, onsite dive center!, the bay for snorkeling (though the quality and diversity of the underwater life was less than the first time). I stayed for 4 nights wanting to acclimate to a new time zone and get EXTRA rest in preparation for a week of scuba diving on a liveaboard. The dive center was excellent. The taxi/excursion staff were super helpful. The onsite spa is excellent for massage. Prices are not "cheap" but the massages were excellent!

I booked a higher end room and requested that it be quiet. Instead of the extra rest I was looking for...when I got to my high end room it was like a refrigerator icebox. I could not get the room temperature higher. I was there to rest prior to going on a scuba dive liveaboard. The next night there was loud music and Instead of resting I ended up having to change rooms. Even the new room was like an icebox. I spent a lot of time at the front desk trying to get help with the room temperature instead of relaxing. Eventually the staff got the temperature to a reasonable temperature, but, by that time, I had lost two nights sleep and was chilled to the bone.
