Very central location close to everything, shops bars, restaurants only a minute away. lovely apartment and very quirky with stone steps leading down to bedroom from living room/kitchen. Everything supplied that you could need and Laurence our host very quick to answer questions or queries. I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this apartment and it I couldn’t have made a better choice for our first time in Bordeaux. Would highly recommend and will stay here again whenever we get to return.

absolutely nothing to not like!

We could not have asked for a better location! It is right by the water mirror and plenty of restaurants and shops close by. Our 5 year old loved to sleep on the mezzanine floor in the Gabriel apartment

Check-in is quite late at 16:00 and there was no room to leave our luggage while we waited for check-in. The owner recommended Nannybag though and there was a bag storage point very close to the apartment.

The location is fabulous, and facilities good enough for 2 people..

It wasn’t terribly clean in the bathroom,and kitchen area. Bed was fine though

Location was very good. Close to lots of bars, restaurants and a short walk to the main areas of Bordeaux.

Apartment wasn't clean. Fridge had remnants of food still in it and hairs. Floors were dusty and dirty. Terrible fusty smell in the downstairs bedroom (which was below ground level so possibly a cellar in its former life). Toilet downstairs but didn't entertain using it as toilet paper had to be placed in the bin beside it! Also felt damp everywhere. Had a dehumidifier running constantly when we were in the apartment Towels had a fusty damp smell. Plaster falling from the wall by the front door. Dubious looking stains all over the sofabed which were hidden by a throw. Bedding consisted of a badly fitting worn sheet, a very flat cushion and a single duvet.

The property was full of traditional features and charm.

The basement bedroom lacked natural light.

The position is good but not relevant due to the bad conditions of the flat.

The whole flat smelt like mold, and was not clean. The sofa was small and full of stains. It was so unhealthy that we had to leave the place after the first night and find another accomodation.

Our flight was delayed but we were told exactly where to collect the keys

the location was unbelievably as you are right in the middle of Bordeaux. easy to walk to most placed in the city. well equipped kitchen

drain smell in the bathroom which didn’t go away. not totally clean in bathroom and stairs.noise from children upstairs, felt they were dancing on your head. lack of electrical sockets in the kitchen.

Excellent location, down town placed. Main tram lines (station Place de la Bource - line C or D) are only 2 mins distance on foot from the apartment. The owner Laurence was super kind. Best stay ever! Waiting to come back soon <3

Location was great but very noisy

The height of the second bed was far to high, which meant we had to share a bed!!

Laurence communicated perfectly before and during my stay. The location was great, very central to Bordeaux.

It was all fine.

Location superb. After a little initial difficulty, the friendly host greeted us. We left our bags and returned later after cleaning. Quiet apartment. Basic cooking facilities. Carrefour nearby.

Couldn't make TV work - but not a great problem.

Fantastic location, great gem of an apartment , had everything you need Very good value for money. Super place to stay in Bordeaux.

There was nothing not to like. All was good. I did not book it for a longer stay.

Everything was perfect. Laurence went above and beyond letting us keep the luggage in the apartment beyond check out, as our flight was late evening. Everything about the apartment was superb, contributing to a perfect holiday. Kind regards.

Bed was pretty low quality and appartement wasn’t clean enough.

Lovely accommodation clean , convenient and cosy

Lovely quirky duplex apartment in the heart of the old town. 50m walk to the riverfront. The host met us with the key and told us about the history of the building which was fascinating, really helpful and insisted that he didn't mind being contacted if there were any problems which there weren't! The apartment was spacious and quiet, well equipped although no TV. There are numerous cafes and restaurants nearby, and the city has beautiful architecture with a vibrant cafe culture. Lots of places to see. Bakery around the corner was great although not open on Sundays, however we found an artisan food market on the riverfront on Sunday which was lovely, bread and cake stalls, cooked chicken, fresh meat and fish etc. Eating out in Bordeaux is expensive by UK standards, for some reason beer is particularly pricey, but the quality of what we ate was great.

Wasn't really anything to fault it, we had a great weekend, could have done with a couple more days.

Perfect location, walking distance from every important place in the city. The host is very helpfull and we've recieved all instructions on the self check-in. All you need you'll have in the appartment.
