Everything was perfect. Our host was very kind, gave us lots of recommendations, and provided a map of the area when we arrived. He speaks perfect English and brought us breakfast to our door every morning! The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, with a spa in the room and a small balcony offering a fantastic ocean view!

We are so happy that we chose to stay at Casa Seorak. We were considering staying in the city or directly at the park's entrance. Though we couldn't ignore the high rating for this property and weren't disappointed. The owner gave us a warm welcome and information about the local area. The room was spacious and comfortable and we appreciated the kitchenette. The bed was also comfortable. The view from the balcony was inspiring and relaxing. We didn't have a car and so caught a taxi from the express bus terminal both on arrival and departure, which was very reasonably priced. Otherwise we walked the short distance through the lovely small village to the local bus stop, which took us to the park and to the city. We went to the local restaurants for dinner and felt safe walking home in the dark as a couple. Overall, our stay at this guesthouse complimented the wonderful time we had in Sokcho.

Casa Seorak is located in a village just outside Sokcho. Quiet place and beautiful setting, yet convenient for Sokcho and Seorak national Park. Host is wonderful, kind and helpful.

(1) The continental breakfast consisted of toasts, fresh fruit (e.g., apple, Korean pear, nectarine, orange, etc.) yoguht, coffee, fruit juice (e.g., orange or mango), eggs (e.g., boiled, scrambled, or pan-fried), and sausage. A tray of breakfast was brought up to our room. The owner's hospitality and friendliness were an added pleasuare to the breakfast. (2) Seorak Sunrise Park is within a walking distance (less than 1K). The park is clean. We could see the sunrise from the park every morning of our stay. (3) The pension is within a walking distance from Handomun Cafe (100 m); Seoraksanro Cafe/Bakery (less than 1 K); and Seoraksanro Korean Food restanrant (next to the Seoraksanro Cafe). All great eateries! (4) We travelled without a car. It could be accessible by from Sokcho Express Bus Terminal or Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal and to Seorak Mountain.
