Staff, and area
Bar under our room played music late. We got use to it but next I would ask to be on an area away from music.

Fantastic location in Karaköy, with so many amazing cafés and restaurants right on the doorstep. It was also really convenient for getting around Istanbul, with easy access to both buses and trams. The breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day.

The hotel has a lot of character inside, which is not obvious from outside. The staff were lovely, and the breakfast selection was decent. Great location in the semi-pedestrianised streets of Karaköy, with small shops, bars and restaurants everywhere around.
There is some outside noise so earplugs are a necessity. As much as I loved the terrace room I had on the top floor, it was very susceptible to the dawn prayer call from the nearby mosque.

The location is very central also the guy who was working at the bar was very friendly attentive.
The area is super noisy and the windows are not sound proof at all, it wasn’t our first time staying in a busy area as we don’t mind a bit of noise but it was next level. Unlike the other hotels they don’t have any sound proofing at all.
The bedding is very uncomfortable, super soft spring mattress. Also the hotel is not 4 stars as they rated. It is a basic 3 stars.

"Das Frühstück, die Lage, das Personal. Man war nah am Wasser und eine super Lage und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Personal war super lieb und zuvorkommend."
