My sister Wendy and I were both very impressed with Patrick and Diane’s apartment. It was very spacious and comfortable. The rooms were a generous size, the beds were comfortable and the living room was a cosy place to relax after a big day out exploring. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. We also loved the location, close to everything when we ventured out daily. The view from the rooftop was breathtaking and a fabulous place to have a G&T in the late afternoon. Patrick and Diane were fantastic hosts right to the end of our stay, helping us out with a very early morning transfer to the airport after our later flight was cancelled. Thank you Patrick and Diane for a very memorable stay in your beautiful apartment. We absolutely adored exploring around Malta.

The appartement was in an excellent location, in the heart of Valletta. We were only a 5-minute walk away from almost all the popular attractions there and you could see all of Valletta from the appartement's balcony.

We didn't have any issues, in particular, with the appartement.

Such an amazing place! Everything that you need is there, spotless clean. No words to describe Patrick and Diana's disponibility all around the clock. The bonus prize: the overwhelmingly beautiful sun terrace with spectacular views over La Valletta. We highly recommend La Valletta Apartments 19 for a long, or a short stay: is idealy situated just in the middle of everything, a walk away of all the hot spots in La Valletta. Patrick and Diane are wonderful attentive hosts. Their property is in the best location in Valletta. The apartment was spotless with all the amenities. The Roof top decks were over the top with great views and comfortable furniture. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Valletta.

Best short term rental experience ever. Patrick and his wife Diana are amazing hosts. They greeted us at the door even though our flight was delayed. They made sure every detail was perfect throughout our visit. Patrick noted that when guests are on holiday they should not have to worry about details with the apartment and that philosophy made our experience perfect. The flat was immaculate. We had everything we needed. Patrick stocked the kitchen with fruit, water, bread, and treats. Such a nice touch after a long journey. The outdoor spaces are amazing. The views look out over the harbor and the outdoor furniture is high quality. There are four separate areas on the roof with beautiful gardens - so there was always room for us even though it is a shared space. Patrick and Diana live close by and were accessible for questions and suggestions. Valetta is a gorgeous town filled with friendly people. This flat is walking distance to all of the cafes, pubs, and restaurants. Highly recommend Malta and Valetta apartments 19!

Fabulous apartment in fantastic location with perfect hosts made our first visit to Malta a truly memorable one. Patrick arranged for taxi transfer from airport and met us on arrival with his wife Diane to show us around and even provided welcome pack which was a nice touch. Apartment had everything you could wish for in order to make our stay unforgettable which it was. Valletta is a wonderful city and apartment whilst on quiet street is only a very short walk away from numerous bars and restaurants. Next door you have nice bakery/cafe we’re you can buy provisions for your stay. Then you have the roof terrace accessible by the really cool lift with the marvellous views of Valletta and beyond to the three cities. Due to the fine weather we managed to enjoy drinks and a few days relaxing in the sun on the loungers provided. Patrick takes great pride in what he is offering to guests and we would return to this apartment in a heartbeat…we loved it.

There was nothing to dislike we only wished we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful, comfortable apartment in a gorgeous old house updated to the highest standards; central location within walking distance to major landmarks, transportaion hubs and a variety if restaurants. Everything was perfect! But the highlight was the attention and the care we received from our hosts. They had thought through every detail and didn’t spare energy and time to make us feel comfortable. I have rarely encountered such professional level of hospitality.

Patrick and Diane, our hosts, are fantastic. Communication prior to our trip was first class. They met us on arrival and explained everything about the apartment, Valletta and Malta. The building has a lift, but as my wife is claustrophobic she cannot use one. Patrick went out of his way to explain how to get to the roof terrace via the stairs, which due to the lift have been modified above the first floor. We were all able to enjoy relaxing on the terrace and taking in the amazing views. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we could want including essential air con in the bedrooms and living area. If we visit Valletta again this is where we will stay. 10/10

can't faulting, perfect

We spent a very pleasant four nights in this apartment and can highly recommend it. The flat is spacious, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. It is but a five-minute stroll from the cathedral of St John, the Upper Barrakka Gardens from where one can catch a ferry to the three cities and the Archeological Museum. The kitchen is very well equipped – but to be honest we went out most evenings since there are so many lovely local restaurants and bars to choose from. Patrick is extremely helpful, and should you have any questions he is more than happy to give some useful suggestions. Finally, an evening drink on the rooftop overlooking the cathedral and old harbour is an absolute must.

The hosts: Partick and Diane were amazing people. They were all the time available and they gave us lots of valuable tips. The location was great. Very central next to St. John's Cathedral and lots of bars and restaurants. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this property.

Location, host and decor

Nothing. Everything was excellent.

It rarely happens that you find a location for your holiday and when you arrive it is actually better than it looked in the ads! When we arrived by taxi which was arranged by Patrick, he was waiting for us and showed us into the building. Because our flight time was changed by the airline, we arrived in Valletta very early, around 9:00 a.m., so we had to wait a bit until the previoius guests check out. But in the meantime Patrick showed us the roof terrace and allowed us to leave our luggage in the building, advising us where we could go and wait for our check-in. When we finally saw the appartment, we were overwhelmed by the location and the standard. The appartment has everything you need: good air conditioning in three rooms, a lot of storage space, well-equipped kitchen, nice bedrooms, a comfortable living-room, smart TV (which we hardly ever watched, because there was so much else to do!), a nice bathroom with a washing machine - really everything! On top of that, Patrick left us some fruit and local specialties in the kitchen and showed a nice bakery next door where we could have our breakfasts and buy local groceries. However, the top attracton was the wonderful roof terrace with a magnificent view of the Valletta harbour and the Three Cities opposite. The terrace was divided into four areas, which made it possible for all the guests from other two appartments (there are three of them in the building) to share the space and enjoy the superb views. The appartment has excellend location: everything nice in Valletta is in walking distance and can be reached on foot. Patrick and his wife Diane were very helpful with everything: they gave us valuable tips on where to eat, what to see and how to do it - it made our time on Malta a unique experience. The hosts showed us so much care and attention that it deserves a special comment, we have never before met people so devoted to their business. We will definitely be returning to Valletta Appartments 19!

Everything was tidy and clean. Perfect location in the city centre with easy access to shops, restaurant and the bus station. The host Patrick was super responsive and always available to answer any questions or help us if needed. :)

The property was perfect, lots of space, air conditioning was a delight, there were lots of amenities that allowed us to just settle and for the kids to relax after a day in the sun. The view from the terrace was gorgeous. The location is central to everything that we needed whilst away.

Unbeatable location. Just moments away from cafes (a couple of lovely trendy coffee shops literally outside, incl Kir Royal where we went every morning) restaurants, wine bars/shops, cocktail bars, hairdressers, ATM machine, pharmacies etc. all on the doorstep,yet not noisey at night (cars beeping / deliveries in the morning could wake you perhaps if you're a light sleeper as the cafes and bakeries and activity starts early but not a major issue at all)....walkable to anywhere in the city including the ferry, bus station or MCP carpark (all within 10min) incase you want to go elsewhere in Malta. Main restaurant street (Merchant St) and shopping street (Republica St) run parallel to Paul St on which this property is located so its extremely convenient Beautiful views from the terrace, including of the harbour, St John's Cathedral etc. Felt very safe. Very professionally managed. Perfect location to explore from and just wander around the beautiful streets, but also to relax in, particularly on the terrace (though its shared amongst the 3 apartments owned by Patrick there are 4 separate outside areas on different levels of the terrace so you still have effectively your own space...and in any event, only one of the 4 times I used the terrace did I see anyone else there at the same time, so it was essentially like a private terrace, just accessed via the lift). The apartment had all amenities incl two smart TVs, well equipped kitchen (incl ice in the freezer), spacious bathroom, washing machine, air conditioning, plug adaptors, washing up liquid, paper towels etc and was nicely decorated. Patrick and his wife clearly takes great pride in their property as well as running a professional service, and we found him very accommodating. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Valetta or Malta generally.

Patrick and Diane are wonderful hosts that go to great lengths to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable. This goes from arranging your transport to/from the appartement to sweet, spontaneous gestures like buying our kids local sweets.The appartements are spaceous, nicely decorated and have all the facilities you could ever need. Our kids especially loved the smart tv :).

Every single thing at this place was perfection. The Hosts paid attention to every single thing in the apartment to make sure their guests are comfortable & well taken care off. Patrick the owner is an excellent host & very attentive & responds to any questions or concerns at all times of the day or night. location of the apartment is really good, right in the heart of Valletta , with beautiful views from the roof top terrace & gardens.
