Frühstück war gut

Leider gab es kein Abendessen, was nach 6h Autobahn etwas ärgerlich war.

This family owned and run hotel was just wonderful. I did not expect to find such a gem in the outskirts of Schwerin. It is what I call an honest down to earth hotel, the staff wonderful, the room in much better shape than I saw on certain high class hotels in my traveling past. And although I booked on a very short notice during traveling peak season / long weekend, I think I got the best room there - facing west with a balcony, able to enjoy the sunset. And as the hotel, so was the food in the restaurant - honest and very good. I strictly recommend this Hotel.

Considering the virus situation staff was friendly and courteous and helpful. Room was large and comfortable. Would stay again ...

Nothing all that was expected and more

The location is good if you have a car. The room was large and the bathroom was also quite big. Both room and bathroom were very clean. WiFi worked fine in my room.

The breakfast buffet was mediocre and not worth the money you have to pay for it. Just find a bakery or cafe in town. The restaurant is closed on Sundays - the one night I had planned to eat there - so you might want to remember to make other plans for Sunday nights.
