Wir brauchten 1e Übernachtung (3 Pers.) bevor unsere Fähre nach England am nächsten Morgen fuhr. Dafür war dieses süße Hotelzimmer super! Auch die Code-Variante anstatt Zimmerschlüssel hat perfekt geklappt. Alle Daumen hoch.

Close to the harbour and train station.

Very quiet and no staff around at all.

It was conveniently close to the railway station and I needed to get to the ferry terminal very early the following morning. Just a short taxi ride.

I had travelled quite a distance to get to St Malo and was extremely tired. I found it difficult to locate the accommodation address, not helped by the fact that the photographs on Google Maps had obviously been taken some time ago. The property looked nothing like the photograph. The owners should make efforts to get this removed, given the large number of folks who rely on Google Maps for finding hotels. There is no lift (I already knew) and my room was on the second floor (I didn't know) as far away from the staircase as you could get. The staircase was carpeted, but needed a good clean - or replacing. It seems as if accommodation in St Malo is more expensive than I had thought - probably because of its proximity to the ferry and the historic town. However, I am extremely unlikely to visit the town again, so staying here in future is not relevant. This accommodation is accessed solely by door codes and there are no reception staff of any kind. The entrance lobby is far from inviting. I greatly dislike writing negative reviews, but I would suggest to any prospective person seeking to make a booking, that you look elsewhere if at all possible. There are alternatives for similar costs.
