A casa di V-Ale

We chose this property as we did not want to pay the astronomical fees in Venice and also we wanted to stay in a place where you don't normally expect tourists. The room was cosy and Valentina, the owner's daughter was very helpful in explaining everything about the property, particularly if you arrive outside of normal office hours. We did not choose breakfast, however the hotel has a cafe of its own that sells lovely coffee and pastries. To get to the property during the day, you can get a bus from Treviso station, but we chose to walk the distance just under 1.5 miles. Treviso is a lovely Italian town with hardly any tourists and there is a wine bar called Hosteria dai Nanetti (also sells beer) with tables outside and it serves wonderful cuts of meet and cheese with a basket of bread. To get from the hotel to Venice, you take a local bus (check correct bus number) (cash payment only) directly from outside the hotel that takes you all the way to Venice. Highly recommended.

Everyone at the hotel was very sweet, pleasant, and helpful! The hotel itself is adorable, and the room was very comfortable. I have to mention the breakfast - specifically coffee and croissants - absolutely delicious!

The only thing that was not ideal was the location, but I knew it was not close to the city center. That being said, it's not even that far, and you can go by foot; it was a nice stroll there and back. Everything else definitely outweighs this con.

Das Frühstück ist perfekt ,wird im Cafe im dazugehörigen Teil des Hauses eingenommen. Die besten Croissants des Leben dort gegessen. Und Eier wurden auch in jeder Form frisch serviert.
