Ideal location. Very central. We could leave the car in the car park opposite and explore Hastings. Parking permit for the week can be obtained from the Council offices a few doors down. (£35 for 7 days/nights) The apartment was very cosy, clean and had lovely views of the beach. Reasonably equipped kitchen (measuring jug would have been helpful). Towels/tea towels provided.

The front door to the property is very tatty and the entrance hall and staircase is not very welcoming, but once inside the flat it is light and airy. It would be useful to have a welcome pack with instructions on how to use the washing machine, cooker and tv. Also information such as where to put rubbish/recycling. We guessed it went in the big wheelie bins at the bottom of the slope! Local information re: doctors/dentist etc, places to visit/eat would have been useful.

The building is really old and needs renovation. I also didnt like the Messages I got from our host, that we needed to clean the house really good. So the host did not have to do anything herself before the new guests would come. I really think this is not our job. And for this price and because we booked via booking.com I really did not expect this.

Facing sea. Next to really good italian restaurant. Kitchen and bathroom fairly new.

Heating not working. Helpful housekeeper came in evening to sort it. Shabby chic idea is more shabby than chic. Not suitable for anyone not fit. Walk up to house is steep then 4 flights of stairs to flat Communal area is really grubby. Not cleaned for some time. Also would be good idea to put instructions for TV. Quite complicated if you dont have NOW TV at home

Excellent location. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen

No welcome pack with details regarding heating. Music, TV WIFI etc. The listing also stated an I phone docking station. There was not one. Difficult to know how to charge equipment. Bath / Shower leaked when in use. So slightly disappointed. Recommend at least a welcome information pack, and USB Docking Station/ Speaker system and maybe some plug sockets with USB ports incorporated.

Great location and plenty of space at the property. Well equipped kitchen. Sea view was great. Clean and fresh decoration.

Sofa not as shown in photos and uncomfortable. Extra seating would be good as there is plenty of room. Needs new chairs for the table as only 3. The outer appearance of the property is in poor repair.

struggled to get up the steep stairs with our suitcases lots of noise from upstairs flat - ceiling creaked very loudly whenever someone walked around the flat above.

Great location and the host was fantastic at communicating with us in advance and on the day when we couldn't work out how the hot water tanked worked.

The upstairs neighbour was an absolute nightmare. He was walking / stomping all the time and the volume of his music was so loud we eventually complained to the host and the housekeeper came to the flat to assist. This has obviously happened before as the housekeeper was not surprised by our call and there are notices all over the communal stairs and hall. I think he does it deliberately when the flat is rented out.

We loved the location, and size of the living area and loved being able just to sit & look out at the sea

A sweet pet friendly flat

The property priced at a high end. A stylish Swan hotel next door will offer a home made breakfast for that money. Most importantly the property is tired and need investment in a good cleaner (dust on the lamps; half dead plants in the living room; used tissue under the bedroom chair; a jar of mauled olives in the kitchen cupboard etc)

The style of the property was gorgeous. Felt really homely, clean & I just sat & stared at the water from the beautiful window

I felt it could have been a little warmer at times, but they may have been me not connecting with the heating :)
