The bucolic location is tranquil with only the local bird life to be heard in the evenings and mornings, which suited us well. The absence of light pollution was a pleasant surprise with stunning night skies. The house, converted from a former water mill, and its surroundings have been neither over-developed nor gentrified and are therefore full of authentic rustic charm. Most charming of all, however, was our friendly and attentive host Christophe who ensured that our stay was enjoyable. He prepared two excellent dinners and the breakfasts were very generous.

It was initially unclear to us which door was the way in. However, the warmth of the welcome we received made up for that!
