The view of the bay was really nice

WiFi didn't work properly. There were bugs in the bathroom. HVAC didn't seem to produce any heat.

Help was available very quickly

We hadn't done the key lock box before and didn't know to clear it and that the key was inside the box We were doing the code and trying the door.

The room size was great and very quiet.

It had a good size room, and a nice bathroom. It was close to downtown. The town of Yachats is very nice, not too many tourists. The beaches and rocky cliffs are beautiful. Stay somewhere else, though.

I was promised an ocean view, which is a priority for me when I stay at the coast. Instead, there was a huge, overgrown bush on their porch right in front of my window blocking the view. There were overgrown weeds on the porch and in the flower pots. It looked awful. It is their responsibility to keep up with the property maintenance. They refused to help me in any way. It was false advertising created by the company for not keeping up with the property to coincide with their advertisement. I asked for a partial refund, but have not heard back. I doubt they will do anything. The furniture was uncomfortable, old, and outdated. The creamer packets where so old, the creamer looked like gross flakes.

How close we were to everything! We loved that we could walk just about anywhere we wanted to go!

The room far exceeded our expectations for the cost. It was bright, comfortable, great view and suited our needs very well.

The driveway is difficult and needs to be leveled/filled in.

Great location, easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Easy to get to the beach. Great view of the ocean from our front window/door. Adorable room with cute decor. Very homey and spacious. There’s a cute whale tail out front that spays water every so often.

Each time you lock the door, you have to enter the 10 digit code to unlock it. There was an incredible amount of long hairs in the bed, shower, sink and toilet. You’re asked to remove your shoes, but the floor was filthy. We killed 5 cockroaches during our 3 night stay. The thistles around the property are overgrown and grab your feet on the stairs.

The bathroom seemed to be the only thing they really cleaned. Fans and vents were dusty sheets were stained and dirty, spiders and sand in cracks by door.

Beautiful location! The whale feature in front was cute and fun and we loved that we could walk to restaurants, the market, coffee shops, and the beach!

We had trouble getting into one room - Agate with the door code. After many attempts we got in finally and never had an issue again. Thanks!

Comfortable bed and bedding. Clean and tidy.

No kettle. Check in was annoying because communication changed from app to email. Spoke to other people staying and they found it difficult too. Check out could have been later.

Only thing was the cleanliness wasn`t up to par. I am in the cleaning business and a little extra time dusting and cleaning would have helped. I wished I would have brought along a can of lysol, since I didn`t , I washed alot of things with a damp soapy wash cloth before I used them. No problem.

Nice ocean view. Close to shopping and dining. The room was clean. Iesha, the customer service agent I talked to, was great.

We were unable to get in our room, the agete. Since there isn't an office, we had to call for help. Iesha was very helpful. After trying the code a few more times, we finally got in with a key.

Location is perfect

The king bed frame was broken and the mattress was collapsed in the center of the bed. We were not able to make it work until we removed the mattresses (which was extremely hard and laborious) and laid them on the floor. We did this after we realized no one was coming to help and it was 10pm Vacasa customer service was not able to help us after many attempts. They said local owners would come and help ... we saw no one. There was on one to help us with the situation. The housekeeper should never have allowed the room to be rented. This was my husband's birthday trip and it was so disappointing. We will never stay at Ocean Cove in Yachats or stay at another Vacasa rental again.

When we turned down the air conditioner below 68 degrees, there was a really strange smell in the room that became stronger. The walls were really dirty and scuffed up, there was damage on the floors, and visible mold in the bathroom grout. It seemed housekeeping did the best they could since the room was just not in the best condition.

This place requires some major maintenance, holes in floors, holes in walls, desperate need of some paint! The outside was overgrown with weeds!

The pictures in there adds do not match what the rooms really look like! The furniture is from the 60’s, a 32in Tv with no guide, coffeemaker that didn’t work! The weeds were growing in between the steps up to the parking lot! In desperate need of some grounds maintenance!!!

Close to everything! Bed was comfortable. Nice bathroom accommodations. Pleasantly quiet for being close to HWY 101! TV had nice variety of programs! Landscaping in front was pleasing to the eye.

The fridge needed to be defrosted. Needed two chairs for us to eat at table. The front door combination lock was too complicated to get into!

Gardens in front of rooms were neglected and full of weeds and there were not enough chairs for each room to have a couple, so sitting outside didnt feel very welcoming (we were in the lower building). Also, it would be nice if there were lamps on each side of the bed (we had to move lamps around) a decent size bedside table on the right, and some way to charge phones and electronics. Lamps with charging ports would be great. Also, the back screen door is really stuck. I managed to open it, but the latch is pretty stuck. Also, the blinds on the door were broken, so we couldnt open them to enjoy the amazing view even more.

Room was mostly clean. Heater was hard to figure out but once it started working it worked well.

2 guests for 5 nights and we only had 5 pods of coffee provided. There was mold growing on floor by bathtub.

Everything else. It was an absolute nightmare. So filthy with hair and trash all over the place. Black mold all around the windows. Reported this to both agencies. No one ever came to clean the room as promised. We didn't get to use the room really. Had to get cleaning supplies from local store to clean so we could use the shower. It was disgusting I want a full refund. Still waiting for someone to contact me on this issue. It was supposed to be my wife's birthday and anniversary gift. Ended up being a real nightmare 😞
