Beautiful 15th Century hamlet. Good sized bedroom, large and well equipped living room with kitchenette and washing machine. Good air-conditioning on very hot days. Very good restaurant with beautiful outdoor setting. Easy access by car to Siena and other towns in Chiantishire
Casual lunch bar bills had to be paid separately. No iron.

Expensive if you book in advance only for a classic room with view of a parking. I asked to cancel the room at my arrival but I was obliged to stay in this hotel orherwise I would have had to pay the whole amount of the room. After long discussions, they finally decided to upgrade me in a better suite (at the same price that I paid for a classic room)!! Don’t book the room in advance or choose to better place to discover Tuscany!

The place is beautiful and wonderful. Very peaceful to relax. If you go there, be sure to go to the pool, it's worth it. The employees have a good service, especially Gina, a mestiza, she is very attentive and helpful.

Amazing Tuscan location, beautiful scenary, little stone medieval village. Very special. Very good food at the local Osteria. 5 min drive from charming small town. Horse farm near by. Interesting wine tour. Overall romantic and charming.
The welcome was not as amazing. We booked a superior room and the receptionist offered us a small, dark twin, nothing like the presentation photos for a superior. We argued back and forth for a good 15 min and were almost ready to go to another place and she still told us all rooms were booked (in Februrary). Finally after putting booking presentation photos in her face, she decided to simpy give us the actual superior room, same as presenter on booking. All unnecessary unpleasant interaction. Also, only 3 tables occupied next day for breakfast. So much for fully booked.

The location is fantastic and at first sight it is what you will call a Magical stay. Rooms are spacious, and the shared living room and kitchen were very cozy and comfortable respectively. The kitchen is huge and equipped for a light dinner preparation. Housekeeping made sure to come in everyday and maintain the room and were very polite, so as the staff in the reception. The best thing about our stay here was dinner at Osteria di Fonterotuli, it is spectacular, however I am not sure it makes up for the rest of the nuances.
Breakfast could be better, its fair in options and inconsistent, we skipped it two days in a row since we did not see the value in waking up so early, they only serve it ( 8 to 10 am ). Although you have separate rooms it is hard to get a good night sleep because you can hear everything that happens in the rest of the villa people coming in and out at different timings, housekeeper working, the door is extremely loud so every time someone opens it they wake you up. In short, anything you do in your room others will hear and vice versa. If what you are looking for is a quiet, good night sleep or writing spot this might not be it.

Loved the old Tuscan feel through the house / villa. Super spacious for multiple people and great layout. Liked its location on the property too, close to the café and main entrance. Lots of windows for fresh air. The property itself was fabulous, the food at the restaurant was delicious. A 7 minute drive to a small strip of shops (supermarket / laundry, cellar doors)
House was missing basic essentials, Oil, Salt, dishwashing tablets, tea towels etc. Reception staff were super unhelpful, especially when asked where we should go and what are the must see / do. No people skills whatsoever. Lack of transport in the region is tough so someone always needs to drive (hard when you want to do tastings).
On our 6 night stay, the house wasn't cleaned once despite requesting twice. The shower was broken on our first night, and was never fixed. They advertised with AC throughout which is why we paid the higher price, no AC.
They advertises 2 restaurants, not the case, one is a café that serves coffee and bruschetta. The restaurant is on the pricey end buy yummy.
The pool, no where to be seen. Apparently its 3 + km away from the main area...

Our family like it, the service, location and everything are perfect. The Osteria also fantastic, and we go to the Bar everytime we had a chance tp enjoy a scenery with some drink. Hopefully we can go back there later some day.

Awesome location to start with! Great room, it was very cozy and we felt even better than home. The people are very friendly and as a unexpected thing we managed to have a tour in their vineyard. Definitely one of our favorite places to stay.

beautiful property, there was a pool (3km away - 9 min drive on the same property). the room was comfortable and the AC worked well.

- Big rooms, clean and warm
- Wonderful restaurant
- Great customer services, we were allowed for early check-in and late check-out
A shared bathroom for the family room is located between 2 parts of the room, leading to some funny confusion when one of the 4 people using the bathroom/ toilet.

the room was fantastic. the wine tour was also good
all the facilities were off site and the pool was shut. the bar closed at 8pm one night and was shut another night. the restaurant was shut one night and fully booked the other night meaning you had to drive to do absolutely anything except sit in your room. even the wine tour we were advised to drive too.

The scenery, the breakfast, the wines, the rooms, the walks, hikes and the staff were all amazing.
We initially didn't have such a nice room, because we could hear the boiler very loudly. But after informing the staff they immediately moved us to a bigger, quieter and beautiful room.
Castellina in Chianti is nice too. Would say you need a car to come here.
Their wines are amazing, really recommend you to try, but I didn't think the winery tour was that impressive, there's a lot of more traditional wineries in the area that I'd recommend a tour at. This is jut my personal preference though.
+ the restaurant was close when we got there, bad luck! Would've loved to try.
