Great location chose to the beach and main street of Alikanas with many restaurants and shops. The apartment was very basic but still good value for money, nice balcony with sea view.
The air conditioning stopped working one evening but they fixed that problem very quickly after we contacted the staff:)
A few items from our make up case somehow disappeared which was strange...🤷♀️🤔

The Mantalena is just a short walk to the beach. Excellent for my mother. Short walk to restaurants and supermarket.
The kitchen area is a little dated

Location, Location, it is excellent, a few steps you are on the beach and all the bars and restaurants are on your doorstep, the owners were so kind and accommodating, really couldn’t do enough to make our stay the best. Top marks for cleanliness and for a studio the rooms were much bigger than we expected
Nothing, couldn’t fault it, was concerned with it being a 2 star, it is definitely worthy of more stars

The host is really friendly. The small apartment is fine, but nothing special. You can use the ouside sitting area to have a breakfast, or just sit there in the shade. There is a nice garden with local trees. The fine sandy beach and the center is really close, about 2 minutes of walk. You also should try the taverna of the owner in the center, it is really fine with fine prices - also got free welcome drink, as we stayed in this apartment!
There is a dog who always wake you up early in the morning, as there are no soundproofed windows. The bathroom should be renovated. There is no mosquito net on the windows, but there are a lot of them - found around 30 or so in the room after leave the door open for an hour (end of June) to let some fresh air in.

We had a great time there, perfect localisation in the quiet part of the village. The owners were kind and attentive, overall I recommend.
The only issue would be the wifi that was not working in the room, but at the same time you could get it on the patio if needed

The personnel was very kind and helpful. I was impressed by the fact that daily the room was cleaned. I also liked the fact that the villa was 2 minutes away from the sea
The shower pressure was pretty low on heated watter @ 7 8 PM

Very nice and helpfull staff. We had first night problem with electricity, but they fixed it immidiatelly.
