Really lovely host, he was very accommodating to our needs. Breakfast was good. Nice clean room.
Only there wasn't a plug for the sink in the family room. I needed to wash our small child who won't go in the shower!

The welcome was brilliant and the staff very friendly
As we arrived late due to traffic hold ups there was no facilities to have food as we had children that needed something to eat
The manager did recommend the pub opposite but the were not serving.

Booked very last minute as our train was delayed by 6 hours and the car dealership had closed by the time we got to Carlisle.
It was cheap - 1 double bed and 2 singles for 2 adults 2 kids and we needed somewhere to stay as it was getting late in the evening.
Very warm welcome, beds were clean and comfy
Cooked Breakfast was made to order and was delicious
The en-suite could definitely have been cleaned to a higher standard hotel is run down however for a beautiful old building renovation needs are to be expected and it did look as though work was being done area by area.
