Excelente ubicación. El hostal superó las expectativas. Las habitaciones son muy acogedoras y limpias.

La entrada al hostal

The location of the Hostal is perfect. Only a short walk from Metro station Gran Via. Right on the shopping street of Fuencarral. To be in the city and go out for shopping and explore the centre of Madrid is perfect.

There wasn't always someone available at the reception. So the evening that I arrived I had to call by phone to get access to the property. I had warned them that I would be arriving after midnight.

Great location in the city, you could hear the sounds from the street, but as the street was pedestrian only with the windows and front windows closed we slept well. Wi-Fi worked well.

The staff spoke poor English, but they had prepared for it and we got along well with the help of translators from their side and our side.

The place is clean and welcoming, at a great location near Gran Via metro station. The staff was also very kind.

Amazing location, nice staff and clean room

The most important things in any accomodation are being able to shower and sleep. The sleeping is seriously lacking in this hostel, especially if you are assigned a room next to the reception, which have paper-thin walls. The doorbell rings well into the night and early in the morning, telephone rings, cleaning ladies discuss their tasks at 7am on a Sunday (every word can be heard), other people snoring, having s*x, coming and going. The noise from the avenue is the least of the problems. Absolutely overpriced for 3 sleepless nights.

The location is really top! It is in the city center. Equipment was quiet new and comfortable.

Unfortunately the only window is to ventilation shaft and that is the only access to a "fresh" air. Also because A/Cs are located there, we always heard noises inside, even though windows supposed to be isolated. Also if you are unlucky and there is person smoking from their window next to your, your room will be poluted. Also often we heard some other noises as this is old house with wooden stairs.
