A wonderful warm welcome from the very kind family. Our room was large and comfortable. The Sri Lankan breakfasts were beautifully prepared and very big! A little too big for me. Fridge in room was useful and plenty of bottled water provided.
Low water pressure and no hot water, not unusual and not a big issue.

I'm a digital nomad and spent perfect 10 days in this little Edem. Jaani and her family are the best hosts ever. They are so carrying and welcoming and Jaani's food is delicious. In the morning you can enjoy your traditional breakfast in the garden looking at birds, squirrels, and mongooses that are frequent guests here. The room is shady, quiet, and clean with a giant bed. There is a shopping area, rail station and a "crazy bus" station a minute walk from the house.

Owners are so lovely, able to help you with everything you need!
Also breakfast is perfect! Homemade and is changing every day
If I ever come again to Ahangama (hopefully soon) it will be my first choice :)

I was traveling alone and this was my first night in Sti Lanka and it was really perfect. I felt safe and welcome and the hosts were so sweet. The room is pretty spacious and it’s calm and silently located.

the garden is incredible, the little entrance of the rooms is very private and cozy, very silent in the night and a lovely breakfast will wait for you in the morning!

It’s a beautiful and quite place and anyhow centrally located and just walking distance to the beach, only 300 meter away.
You walk in the property and you are immediately enchanted by this wonderful garden.
The host and her family are amazing, such lovely and helpful people, they make your stay most comfortable.
I loved the breakfast, very delicious and enjoying coffee/tea on the little terrace of the room, so relaxing.
I would have liked to stay longer as I could sleep so well there, bed is super comfy and very quite surrounding.

Everything about the Green room well exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was amazing with a variation of different courses each day, served with a plate of fresh fruits. Our hosts went out of their way everyday to help us start our days in the best possible way. Giving advice about where to go and what to see, what to look out for and helping us understand the culture and area we visited as tourists. The hosts truly made us feel like we belonged there in their house and treated us like family members.
I stayed here when the corona virus hit Sri Lanka and my hosts made sure that I would not go hungry or have to worry even when the lockdown started. I was supposed to stay at the Green room for four days but ended up extending my stay to seventeen days because I felt so at ease and welcomed at this homestay.
I have never felt so welcomed or safe anywhere in the world as I did during my stay at the Green room. Now when i'm back at my home in Sweden I still keep in contact with the family that runs this homestay. The next time I go back to Sri Lank I will definitely go back to the Green room, either to stay as a guest or just to visit my new friends, the family of this homestay.
I have no complaints. Everything about the Green room was perfect.

I can only recommend to stay at ‚Green Corridor’! The hospitality is amazing, the breakfast very tasty and generous, the garden beautiful, the room clean and well equipped and the friendliness and helpfullness of the owners are enormous. In addition, the location is very suitable; central and yet somewhat off the main traffic axis.

The room was big, comfortable and clean. The terrace invites you to stay.
The breakfast is great, the host family prepares every morning a different classic breakfast from Sri Lanka, really very tasty. Furthermore the breakfast place is located in the garden and you can watch chipmunks and different kinds of birds.
The accommodation is centrally located.
