NIce Villa in a quiet location with everything you need. A uber into town is about 8 euros & the nearest supermarket is a 8 minute walk away.

Very little hot water on a daily basis. If two people shower then the waters freezing for others. Road outside has a huge speed bump which makes it quite noisy.

We stayed for three nights in Villa Gonçalves (from 13/05 to 16/05). The house was spacious and well located. There weren’t any problems with the check in and everything was normal, yet,

for a house that accommodates up to 9 people, we thought it was strange the absence of some dishes (there were only 2 tea-cups to drink coffee); there were only 7 plates, 1 kitchen knife, etc. As for the furniture, all of it was very worn out (one of the couches was fixed with duct tape), there were only 7 chairs available e one of them had the seat very unstable. There were broken lamps and without lampshade, broken closets and there was hair in one of the bathtub’s drain. As for the pool equipment, there were only 4 sun lounger and out of the 3 outside lamps, only one of them had a lamp. To conclude, and what we thought was most serious, the house is equipped with solar panels that assured hot water yet, because the sun wasn’t out for all the 3 days, on Sunday we weren’t able to take a shower, due to the fact that the existent cylinder had the wire cut off and it wasn’t working. In accordance with the descriptions above, we considered the price too high for the conditions that the house offered.

I loved the cleanliness of the pool facilities and the easy access to the local shop - 2 minutes

both toilet seats were broken on arrival. The oven does not work properly and there was no hoover to help clean the villa.
