Location is perfect, apartment is lovely, modern, clean and comfy!

Fantastic location. Super clean apartment. Stefano was friendly, helpful, provided useful information and patient with answering my many questions! The apartment was also fitted with every possible need guests/tourists might need beyond the usual toiletries found in hotels. The appliances were also all in good working order. The internet password is in the Welcome book (don’t use the password listed on the router).

Everything is great. I would like to note that, for people with mobility issues, the unit is up a few flights of stairs but the way is well lit and wide enough for another person to help/hold hands.

- Stefano was a great host! Helped us greatly upon arrival and was super friendly. Helped us keep our luggage stored as well when we checked out, was wonderful given we left on a mid afternoon train. - The apartment was beautiful with a minimalist style that maximized space available while still able to maintain a Venetian taste. - Location was wonderful smack bang in the middle of San Marco and a short walk to the Piazza. Surrounded by great restaurants or short walks with loads of restaurants. We managed to walk the entire island in 3 days with our home as a base. - All the amenities available to make the place feel like home. Washing machine was a great help as we had travelled from Florence and Rome before that. The small kitchen would also be perfect should you wish to cook instead of dining out.

These aren't really complaints but do take note so you're not caught off guard. - The apartment is a short walk from Rialto Ferry wharf and that would be the easiest way to go if you're coming from the train station. Water taxis would also be good but we mainly used those for sightseeing. Note if you're arriving during the day, the walk will be packed with people, that will only increased when the weather gets warmer. Venice is busy and the apartment is in the middle of San Marco, by far the busiest area. - There are no elevators/lift in the building (those are hard to find anywhere in historical Venice), there are a few steps to the apartment and it is both narrow and slanted at times, that's largely due to Venice sinking and the age of the building, something that all of Venice is affected by so don't stress but be aware. We thought it was a unique quirk and embraced it :) - There is another apartment on the same level but is above 27 San Marco, our neighbours were a French family who were loud and had children who stomped like elephants even tho there is a sign asking for quiet between 2200 - 0800, we couldn't figure out if it was them until after they left. But if this happens to you, make sure to contact Stefano as he will happily contact the owner of next door and speak to the guests. This is of course no fault to Stefano who as mentioned was fantastic and really helpful. - Even tho the bathroom was quite spacious, the shower was a compact and might be troublesome for taller/bigger individuals. - Wish we could have stayed longer, but next time in Venice we would definitely be staying here again, Grazie Mille Stefano!

Absolutely everything …! It’s a fabulous pied-a-terre. The WiFi was excellent, the bed/pillows very comfy and the living space, perfect for two. The location is app 300 meters (less than 3blocks) from Piazza S.Marco. Host, Stefano, is a delightful fellow who did all possible to make us feel at home. We plan to be back many times!

Nothing; we loved it all … However, like many old buildings, it’s not for guests with mobility issues (no lift). To be respectful of neighbors, noise should be kept to a minimum and the trash appropriately sorted.

Everything was perfect.

Stefano was a fantastic host! The apartment was clean, modern, and had plenty of space to spread out in compared to a hotel room. Wi-Fi was super fast, and the location was superb. Having a washer and hang drying clothes on the line was great.

People upstairs were exceptionally loud literally all night until about 8am for two of the three nights I stayed here. Despite several attempts to get them to be quiet, I could hear them talking, and walking around with what sounded like high heels on hard flooring. The noise of the Venice alleyways was expected and perfectly fine, however I couldn't really sleep at all those two nights because of the neighbor upstairs. Since this wasn't the fault of the host, I don't think it would be fair to give a low rating because of it.
