HAD A WONDERFUL STAY. Georgina and husband were extremely accommadating. This plus location near Schinias beach made for a great time in greater Athens area.

We as a family with a 7 year old child had an amazing time in Marathon(as). The house is really nice and has all the basic facilities. Don’t expect something fancy, but do expect a lot of character. There is quite a big garden and lots of toys for the children to play with. The nearest beach is just 5 minutes away and New Makri (which is more touristical) is about 15 minutes away. We visited this place in October and temperature was 26 degrees. Just wonderful. Pool was too cold to swim in, but sea water temperature is still really nice. The owners are lovely people. Very helpful with lots of information. We would definately return here.

The house itself was basic, but its location was wonderful; secluded with a lovely view from the south facing balcony. The garden was lovely especially the relaxing area around the pool. The owner was most helpful on arrival and available, but unobtrusive during our stay.

We had a great time here with the family, really nothing to complain about. The owners are really kind and helpful. The house had all what we needed, and everything was nice and clean. The location is near Nea Makri which has a great seaside with lots of restaurants and cafes for the evening hours The only regret we had, was that we only booked for 2 weeks and not longer.

The villa is very nice and have a huge garden. The pool is big enough and is completely private. The beach is at 5 min distance by car, not crowded, clear water and sandy beach. The owners are very kind and try to help you whatever you needs. The only minus point is the kitchen. The dishwasher is small and doesn't wash very clean.
Summarized, the prize/quality ratio is good. We did enjoy a lot of our holiday. We plan to come again in the future!

I can’t possibly describe how great our 2 week holiday was. Georgina and her husband (sorry, forgot name!) were very welcoming and were always checking on us if we needed anything. The property is in a very good location only 40 minutes or so from Athens and only a few minutes away from Nea Makri where you can find many local shops and restaurants. The view was breathtaking, pool very clean and everything we needed was there.

Just returned from an amazing week in Athens staying at this beautiful villa in the famous town of Marathon nearby. The weather was lovely, even at the end of October, and so we could make use of the pool and lovely gardens as well as the nearby beach which is the site where the Persians landed prior to the battle of marathon.
It is a short drive of approx 45 mins into the centre of Athens to explore the historic sites and the region is littered with other sites of historic significance and beautiful scenery.
The owners of the villa are very friendly and helpful to ensure everything is well and that you have a great stay.
I would definitely recommend and would stay again if returning to the region.

We (parents with 2 children 9 and 15) had a lovely holiday! Everything was simply wonderful! The house, the place, the pool, the surrounding etc. The house is very good equipped. Everything you need was there. It has a big garden with many play options for children. There are supermarkets, bakerys, a market and very good restaurants nearby (our favourite is Taverna Lekka).

Lovely villa. The location is great for children, as there is a huge garden and selection of outdoor toys. The private pool makes the villa ideal for relaxation and chill time without having to go too far. The view is beautiful and the villa has everything you might need for a family holiday. There is only a short drive to some lovely beaches that are great for swimming and sandcastle building. The owners are really welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely week here and plan on going back.

The owners Georgina and her husband were very helpful. The property was well equipped and has a lovely pool. The gardens are lush and pretty with an orchard at the rear with fig trees. Delicious. The description of local attractions and location was very accurate while the beaches were really very clean and many to choose from..We enjoyed the wind surfing and paddle boarding. Delphi and particularly Athens were also within easy reach. We had a fantastic holiday and found the villa very comfortable for the 4 of us which I would highly recommend it to a friend.
