Beautiful property in a fantastic setting. The surroundings, architecture and atmosphere of the hotel are truly exceptional and make the stay feel special. The restaurant was also a very strong point – excellent food and a very enjoyable dining experience. Overall, the location and character of the property are definitely worth a visit.
There was a noticeable smell of dampness in our room, which affected the overall comfort of the stay. Unfortunately, the reception staff also made two mistakes during our stay. Neither issue was serious enough to ruin the experience, but at a hotel of this standard I would expect greater attention to detail and more consistent service.

I love the grounds and the small village nearby. The hotel was very old world charm.
And I had trouble walking and the gave me a different room to make it easy for us.
I had trouble with water running onto bathroom floor because there was no barrier wall on the shower.
