Although we missed the sign on the gateway when we first drove through, Finstown is a small place and we soon found it - totally our mistake. Ideal for our 2-night stay on Orkney - lovely treats provided too!
Nothing - it was great.

The size and easy access to the property. Good car parking space and great location. Very comfortable bed and settee. Had everything that was needed and more. Good TV images and great to be able to access Netflix. Welcome pack provided.
Jus a small consideration for the owner's sake more than anything. A mat inside the doors so the floor isn't spoiled by shoes. There was a mat outside but it was soaked by the rain. I couldn't use it as I would have brought wet marks and dirt etc into the property from my shoes and/or feet.

The host left a basket of bread, cookies, and fudge for us which was such a treat. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Convenient to all the places we wanted to visit.
It was perfect.

It was a very easy and convenient location for our holiday. Very clean property and comfortable seating. 2 TVs, one in bedroom and one in seating area.
It was too small for 2 people to move around the property comfortably. No cooker. Kitchen arrangements inadequate. Though the owners lived adjoining next door they requested only to be messaged but we had no response to our text message sent early in our stay.

"Schöne Ferienwohnung mit den Küchenutensilien die man benötigt, um sich 2 Tage lang selbst zu versorgen, auch Brot und Plätzchen lagen bereit. Bequemes Bett, Parkplatz direkt am Haus, sehr gutes WLAN...."
