Nice and clean acommodation in Drake Bay with beautiful view.

Gorgeous terrace to lounge at, food was excellent, beds were comfortable, shower had great water pressure, plus they accommodate early breakfast when you want to go to Corcovado (5am)

Everything - the room, kitchen, friendly staff, we saw a toucan from our bathroom. The restaurant is great too. The swimming pool was awesome during the heat.

Very clean, helpful staff, excellent chef (such great food!!) wonderful room with A/C and a balcony. Staff was fantastic, helped us book a snorkeling tour and provided great recommendations on things to do and see.

Lovely hotel - everything spotlessly clean. Great location with views over the forest to the sea. The manager was extremely helpful and arranged a 4 x 4 overland transport to our next destination (Puerto Jiminez). Much quicker and cheaper than the alternative of Boat and long and expensive taxi ride.

On our arrival by boat (wet landing) the promised taxi was not waiting for us. Easy to fix for future customers

We couldn’t have asked for more from our stay at hotel margarita. Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful in setting up tours for our stay, giving information about places to eat and making sure we had transportation to/from our boat arrival and departure. The restaurant located inside the hotel was great and even accommodate breakfast at 5:20 am before visiting Corcovado park. The rooms were very clean and had well functioning ac and even a dehumidifier which was really useful here. Definitely recommend hotel margarita to anyone visiting drake bay!

good location, excellent breakfast and helpful staff

The first room we got had a funky moldy smell, but luckily the receptionist was very understanding and we were upgraded to a top notch room which was absolutely stunning. Wonderful bed, nice balcony and lots of space

Mauricio was very friendly, responsive and helpful. He helped us to organize a snorkeling tour last minute on Christmas Day, and transportation to the airport. The room was nice and clean, with A/C and hot shower.

We had a really big corner room with panorama windows on two sides. The view into the trees was amazing. And right there was a tree with fruit that toucans liked! Among other birds of course. We also liked the pool area and location of the hotel.

The bathroom was lovely and large but without proper odor traps. The smell was unpleasant.

Marisio was a wonderful host. Head chef super nice as well as bar service young lady.

First night in standard room seemed as if we were in the basement and had a funky smell. Marisio moved us to a suite which was very nice and quiet.

Not much of a welcome, staff were barely visible, door locks were poor, French doors would t close properly, very noisy neighbours, dogs barking constantly and very loud music from a neighbouring house. Not much room around the pool for sunbeds. separate businesses for hotel and restaurant therefore restaurant staff unhelpful with request for milk to go in coffee in the room. reluctantly gave ice. creamy bed.

The Chef at the hotel restaurant was top notch. He spoke English and was very receptive to our dietary needs. He was a fantastic cook and we ended up eating there many times: sea bass, Mahi-Mahi, salmon, fantastic sauces that made everything fabulous.

Actually, it is kind of funny, but it took us a couple of days to realize that the hot water on the faucet in the bathroom was the handle on the right not the left. We did object to the neighboring dogs who barked all night, so we had to run the air conditioner all night to block the noise.

The property was bright and clean. pool area was inviting and the bar was a great spot for dinner.
