As usual everything was spot on. The staff are exceptional and the food is fabulous.

Modern spacious pub and hotel. Service was quick and efficient and the staff were very friendly. Food was varied and good value for money.
The shower in the bathroom had a broken shower heat regulator which I reported on leaving. The bathroom shower and tiling around the floor edges need more attention as a little dusty and the shower is moldy in places. I understand this is due to the water from the shower but could be cleaner.

WOKEN in the middle of the night by shouting, screaming, arguing and revving cars outside our window. Turns out it's a popular spot for late night fast food consumption.
While the breakfast was generally okay, it wasn't what we asked for.
And although they had an espresso machine close by, it wasn't allowed to be used at breakfast time 🙄.
The cafetière coffee tasted of nothing.
PRIVACY is a big issue for me, but the hotel emailed wanting us to 'check in' on a third-party website, which asked for my personal contact details. NOT HAPPENING.

I arrived at 8:20pm after a 6hr drive to find the kitchen closed at 8:15.
No heating in the bathroom.
Cold room on arrival. electric wall heater failed to hear the room. spent the evening in bed keeping warm.

Very nice hotel and setting, comfortable feel around the place, ev charging too which was a bonus.
One room not quite ready upon arrival, but didn't take too long, was ready by the time we had a drink.

Rooms are great - large, clean & comfortable. Toiletries and hot drinks available in the room which is great!
Staff are beyond helpful. Breakfast was great, so many options and great quality products used.
No fault of the hotel staff, but if you are attending for business and can't take your luggage with you to a meeting etc - the only option at the hotel is to leave your luggage in the bar area and at your own risk - so I had to find an alternative solution with my luggage. Maybe an option to leave the case at least in the hotel area (which is protected by a key card) would be helpful in future?

Had a pleasant stay at this hotel: beds very comfortable, very good breakfast, perfect dinner, friendly staff and plenty of free parking.
Rooms and bar very clean and generally a very nice atmosphere. Rooms are far away from the pub so no disturbing noises. We would definitely return here.
Noise from the nearby street, but not that bad. A bathroom sink smelled really bad when we entered the room, but flushing with water for a minute or 2 and opening a window solved the problem.

Only a few minutes from the motorway. Very comfortable & large bed. Room 28 was immaculate but near the road so quite noisy with traffic. Room 20 very good but a little more used. View was unfortunately of the bins but it was much quieter as it was around the back away from the road. Excellent breakfast. Ate an evening meal there which was good - very large portion

Hotel brilliant and clean ,manager great , staff behind the bar need to get some manners felt uncomfortable as they were sniggering and talking about us as we was dressed for a festival, we ended up taking drinks in our room as it wasn't a nice feeling getting talked about

The breakfast was superb! We also had dinner in the evening, which was another fantastic meal. Location to Samlesbury Hall was perfect for us……literally 2 minutes in the car.
