This was an interesting experience for people wanting a traditional farm stay. Lovely, historic old property with beautiful gardens and pool area. We booked the dinner and wine tasting, and breakfast, the food was good quality.

Traditional Masseria well located close to Ostuni. We liked the pool area and the general friendly relaxed atmosphere The staff were engaging and enthusiastic and seemed to enjoy being there We had a lovely 7 course tasting meal with traditional local food and wine.

The room was a bit old fashioned, although that is maybe to be expected from a traditional stay such as this. There wasn’t much natural light in the bedroom

The location is stunning and it has tons of potential

The air conditioning was installed only in the main entrance area of the room. Since the bedroom was separated from that area by a door, it effectively had no air conditioning — a real drawback in the summer heat. The mattress was far too soft, likely due to age, and the topper had also seen better days. Water pressure in the room was weak. Breakfast didn’t quite live up to the potential of the property or the image it presents. On the first day you’re asked to fill in a form choosing what you’d like to eat, and you’re then served that same breakfast for the rest of your stay. My wife is lactose intolerant, and although she pre-ordered a lactose-free yogurt a day in advance and was assured this would be no problem, the next morning she was served a regular yogurt because none was available. Finally, they offer a lovely lunch-box service by the pool; however, they overlook the details: you are charged 20€ for a small lunch box and a bottle of water is not provided with the box.
