Very cosy place with very helpful and welcoming owners. Loved the little patio and the residential cat!
It is great that it doesn’t get overheated as the place stays in a shadow for the whole day.
Supermarket, beach and city center in a walking distance. Possible to rent bikes :)
Be aware that this place is for true nature lovers. The windows do not have glass. You will hear all kinds of noises at night from the jungle as well meet all kinds of animals and insect at the property.

The Garden is simply amazing. So many different animals (e.g. humingbirds, a sloth) and flowers. It was amazing to here the animals during the night. Very peaceful! The location is great, quick to the beach and into town with bikes that you can use.
Nothing. But be aware that the house is not closed, so you hear everything outside - we loved it, but it might not be for everyone.

A quiet place... Not far away of the center...
I recommend it... Antonella is really welcoming..
Everything was perfect....

A very nice set of cabins in the rainforest some 400 m from the beautiful Playa Negra. Very nice and helpful staff - Giorgio even gave us a free upgrade for 2 nights out of 5 (I definitely recommend a cabin with the kitchen, but they were out of stock at the time of our booking). If you're into quiet mornings and evenings just sitting in the patio watching hummingbirds, agoutis and other wildlife, this is a place for you.
We were quite surprised when told it wasn't a good idea to walk to the beach or to Puerto Viejo after sundown, due to safety issues. OK, we'd drive all evenings, but it sort of narrowed our options slightly. The year before, we were staying on the opposite side from the town (Cocles) and there was no problem whatsoever. If this is not an issue for you, then nothing is.

we really enjoyed the ‚junglefeeling‘ - really quiet and relaxing place to stay!

Well equipped kitchen, beautiful garden, very helpful manager, Giorgio, gave us a lot of useful information about local attractions.
Not a major complain at all but if someone wants complete privacy then they would need to know that there are no windows, just metal bars and mosquito nets so you can hear conversations, other noises from neighbour bungalows.

Another gem in Costa Rica. Las Flores are a good walk and a short bike ride away from downtown. Just perfectly in that sweet spot for me. Far enough from the main road and on the verge to the forest as the locals would call the jungle to be in the quiet off of civilisation and within reach of nature to make a unique setting and experience for getting in touch with Costa Rica. Still you get all the comforts of modern life to make life easy. Giorgio was a big help all along. He and his girlfriend are fully engaged and very competent in keeping up civility and the luxuries westeners are used to in this still remote place. I felt so comfortable and safe here it was pure relaxation or might I say Pur Vida? Yes, this is how sweet life can be. Thanks again for this lovely stay and making the most of my vacation. I hope to be back but had to move on to see more of this beautiful country.

Everything was perfect. Place is literal paradise, out of town but still really close to it. Mornings are pretty special, if you lay in your hammock in front you can see hummingbirds, agutis, frogs, howler monkeys in the yard. Our host Vittorio was fantastic, he went above and beyond to help us in every way we asked him. Thank you Vittorio

We really enjoyed our 4 nights stay in Casitas Las Flores. You live surrounded by flowers in small cute houses. Everything was clean and manager Giorgio was really friendly and willing to help us with everything. The location is also good, you can get to Puerto Viejo by walk within 20 minutes, 3000 colones with Tuk tuk or just rent a bike for 5$ per day.
One of the best acommodation of our trip in Costa Rica!

- great experience to sleep in the middle of the jungle
- very clean
- very nice staff taking care of the casitas and giving great advices where to go for dinner / breakfast
- a breakfast included would be a great value because it takes ca 15 - 20 min to walk into the town
- a little bit too expensive

it is a beautiful location, the bungalows are spacious and very nice and the garden is wonderful. The host is very kind!
it is a bit far from the centre of Puerto Viejo, but you can easily rent a bike and use it!

We really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen as well as the hammock on the little terrace. The host was very helpful and friendly and gave us some good tips for our stay (as well as our next destinations). The area is very close to the jungle so you will hear a lot of animals during the night and morning. We even saw a monkey (or a sloth perhaps - it was quite far away) from our room. The mosquito net is an extra plus as there are no "real" windows that can be closed. Yet it feels like a very safe place to stay and you can even rent bikes right at the property.
We had monkey poop on our car, but I guess that's part of the experience ;) Another thing to keep in mind is that there is no AC, but with the fan gets the job done as well.

Beautiful garden, super nice and caring owners, good location, cheap bikes for rent for 5$ with which it's a quick ride to town. Supermarket very close, en suite kitchen has its own counter and is well equipped, great for frying some plantains and yuca at night. Good coffee included!
Could have emptied the bins a little more often

first of all its a nice clean place, the guy who s running the place is very friendly, its in the jungle.
kitchen is very good, very clean.
the rooms are cute and lovley.
to be honest: sadly its kind of loud; you hear everything, really everything from your neighbours in the next Bungalow, and also other people close by play loud music all day long. not so good for the jungle feeling.

We had such an amazing stay at CLF! Giorgio and his wife were incredible hosts and the casita was exactly what we needed.

Casitas las flores is a wonderful accommodation. The four individual bungalows are very sheltered by the beautiful garden in the middle, which makes the stay there very private. We were also able to observe many animals such as butterflies, hummingbirds and many other birds directly from our terrace. Our bungalow was cosy and very clean. Giorgio and his wife were always available to help us with our questions. Puerto Viejo is easy to reach on foot, and if you don't like walking, you can reach the city in a few minutes by tuc tuc.
We especially liked the terrace with the hammock, the open kitchen and the offered laundry service was a big plus, too. We would come back anytime.
Nothing, it was really nice!

the bungalow and the room were cosy, confortable and well equipped
the garden is really beautiful
the owner was nice for the welcoming but then more kindness and friendliness would have been appreciated.
we asked for several things and we had the impression to annoy.
Also, we were missing a bit of local tips ( buses schedules, what/ where to do) for the activities as we were used to get them easily in other accommodations during our trip in Costa Rica

Really nice and helpful host. Very complete, comfortable and spacious bungalow. Proper musquito net. Loved the fully equipped outdoor kitchen and patio. It feels private due to the arrangement and jungle vegetation even though there are 4 bungalows.
Nothing, it is a lovely place to stay for a couple of nights :)

Giorgio was most excellent. Helpful, knowledgeable about the area, and a generally friendly guy! I broke my phone and he knew a guy to bring it back to life. He makes Casitas much much more!!!
It is the jungle bring a lot of bug spray!!

Casitas Las Flores is perfection! Not only is the property absolutely beautiful, but it is as equally comfortable. Giorgio is the most wonderful host and we consider ourselves so lucky to have found Casitas Las Flores. Can’t wait to return!
We LOVED everything about Casitas Las Flores!

The area is super nice. The sound of monkeys and birds wake you up each morning. You have your own kitchen and your own nice area. Also the outside shower is a big plus.
It is a good 25 min walk to the town. Which is okay during day but back to the hotel in the dark is a dodgy.

Absolutely beautiful & peaceful place. Loved to be in the middle of a garden & the jungle.
Giorgo was always very helpful & fast in solving issues.
Well equipped kitchen.
Bike rent available.
After the dog had fallen into the well the water quality unfortunately wasn't as good as before anymore.
The bike rent could be cheaper.

The bungalow looked exactly like the photos. Everything was very nicely furnished and very clean. The bungalow is located in a small garden with 3 other bungalows. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the village by bike. The area is very quiet and you can't hear anything except the animals. Giorgio was incredibly friendly and very helpful with all questions. Many Thanks!
Nothing to say!
