The staff were so welcoming and exceptionally helpful. Warm and friendly environment. The food was also exceptional

So clean and great location. We traveled in August and it was over 100 degrees most days so having a pool to cool off in was perfect! The staff were all so friendly and accommodating.

The decor of the rooms and all the common areas was stunning, eclectic but tasteful. And the pool was perfection.

The location of the hotel was good.

I was really disappointed with my stay here. I’m not sure how this can be rated a 5 star hotel & I don’t write bad reviews often. The disappointing aspect was the service. So many things I asked for, never happened. Examples, Help with a pool umbrella, no one turns up. A pool towel, no one provides. Service at the pool, was almost non existent, you had to actively find someone walking around to ask for a drink at the pool bar. I was told no service at the pool then that changed when I questioned it. Restaurant I was delivered and tried to be charged for a salad I didn’t order (they did fix it up but only after I complained). It was almost at every corner the service was lacking. The breakfast was nice & I will say the service was good there. There are also just little things you expect from a 5 star hotel. Help with your bags, there was inconsistent turn down service. There was also no mention of how noisy the room was from the outside road…..but they did leave ear plugs in the room which tells me they know how noisy the room is, just no mention of it. I was really looking forward to my stay here but I would not recommend or stay again.
