Everything was great

Elegant finishes, pleasant smiling staff with excellent spoken English, relatively small number of rooms, great location just inside city walls, breakfast table served, excellent cappuccino.

The water seems to be softened so very slick on the skin.

Zufahrt durch die engen Gassen von Cortona mit mittleren und grösseren Mietautos ist für ungeübte Fahrer allenfalls erschwert Der fixe Eintrittspreis für den doch relativ kleinen Spa-Bereich ist nicht passend.

The staff at this property were very kind and they also provided a beautiful breakfast each morning. We drove a car to this property and appreciated that they staff offered to park our car in the underground parking for us, as the entrance was very small and even with our small Audi we were uncomfortable trying to self-park in such a narrow entrance.

We were staying here a few nights on our honeymoon and the room that we reserved was the Superior Double Room with City Views. We were given room 413, which was a room that only had one window that you had to climb up 4 stairs to look out of, and the view was of the roof, not the city. The room felt like we were in a "hobbit house" and very dark and "cubby" like. I was immediately uncomfortable that I didn't have light with a window to look out of. It made me feel very claustrophobic. We mentioned it to the staff, and they showed us another room that was bare minimum, very small, and did have a window, but the room had a musty smell and was very small, so we decided to just stay in the "hobbit" room they originally put us in. In hindsight we should have insisted on moving us to a better room with a window since we were paying over $500 US a night for this room. They did provide a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon, but in the room, we just didn't feel celebratory in our little "hobbit" room, so we did not open it to enjoy. Location was nice, as we could walk to everything.
