Logis Hotel Spa Restaurant Au Site Normand

This was my third stay here, spread over a decade or so, and I've always had a great experience at the hotel. It's a brilliant location for cyclists, just off the 'voie verte' (up a steep hill) from Ouistreham southwards.

When we arrived the weather was sunny and dry, the reception couldn’t find keys to our room, so they put us in the room 15 that had stairs access to it. In the morning next day the rain started and while we were going down the stairs, I had a bad fall till the very last step hurting my arm, foot and hip. The stairs were slippery and unadapted to this weather. We made the staff aware that I hurt myself to which they replied that it’s too bad, but they don’t even have a first aid kit. We registered a complaint with the booking.com customer service. They told us they can ask the hotel to reimburse our stay, which is not what we are looking for here. The reimbursement for the night won’t help if there are complications from the fall. We’d like the hotel to take responsible actions and secure the clients experience and provide sustainable and safe facilities.
