Naturfreunde Hostel Grindelwald

Close to mountains and public transport.

Noise isolation could have been better.

Great location, nice and calm common room with nice, relaxing music. Guy at the reception was very kind.

The simplest of rooms paired with the most stunning scenery—you are paying not just for the accommodation, but for the view. Thinking the 950-meter distance was manageable, we walked to the hotel with our luggage; however, we hadn't anticipated a steep 350-meter incline that left us drenched in sweat and utterly exhausted. Yet, when we opened the window the next morning and saw snow-capped mountains seemingly within arm's reach, we felt the previous day's exertion had been worth it. That said, next time, we will definitely take a vehicle up the hill.

It's better to remind the guests to ride bus to hotel.

Incredible views from the back of the property

Having to make up beds on arrival and paying for towels
