Very friendly staff and delicious food

It was well located next to the beach. Sea view room was excellent. Was easy to walk to French quarter. Food were delicious and affordable compared to rest of the restaurants

Wifi was spotty - often cutting off and very slow. Difficult to go online let alone get any work done Difficult to eat in restaurant when it rains as it’s quite exposed. Note restaurant and bar closes by 6pm.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Strand. Traumhafte Kulisse mit Meeresrauschen. Das Frühstück ist gut, aber kostenpflichtig.

Leider ist das Restaurant früh am Abend geschlossen.

The staff were all lovely people, from the eldest to the youngest, and Theophile in the bar/restaurant always had a smile for us. The food and wine were excellent from breakfast through to dinner. Our 7 month old baby was treated with charming care.

Some basics were missing through lack of effort & investment by the owner. WIFI never worked well consistently anywhere in the property, even after we changed rooms. We left a day early and returned to a hotel in Abidjan just because a couple of hours vital work had to be sent off to London. The room didn’t have a single cup or glass to drink from (a first in any type of hotel anywhere in the world in my/our experience). There was also no shower gel (fortunately we brought our own from Abidjan). Very dirty beach was not the fault of Berne the owner, but of our polluted world globally. Yet there was only one clean up operation by hotel staff on our third (Saturday) morning …and the rubbish was not bagged up and taken away, just thrown into hastily dug sandpits on the beach.
