Casa Verde es una casa tradicional de Mompox, espaciosa, luminosa y fresca, sus instalaciones son bonitas y están muy bien adecuadas, un lugar perfecto para descansar y desconectarse… La piscina es perfecta para refrescarse de las altas temperaturas de Mompox. El personal siempre amable y dispuestos para conversar y dar información de interés e histórica de Mompox Sin duda volveríamos a hospedarnos en este lugar.

Zeer ruime kamer, groot bed, erg rustig, airco, warm water, zwembadje.Klein hotelletje met enorm potentieel maar mag wel opgeknapt en schoongemaakt worden. Goedkoop dus mag niet klagen. Lokatie aan de rivier heel fijn, je loopt langs de rivier naar mooi plein, restaurants en boten voor tochtje. Toertje op de rivier met kleine boot was geweldig! Neem de kleine, niet de grote boot. 40.000 pp

Lekkende wc, handdoek op de grond was na een dag geel/bruin. Men sprak geen woord Engels dus moeilijk te begrijpen. Zwembad was heel fijn omdat het heeel warm was. Maar mag onderhouden worden, heeft enorm potentieel.

We never saw the admin of the place. It was weird to see the staff, who were all very nice, but it was odd not to have a host

I had to call 3 times when I arrived in Mompox before getting an answer. A young boy arrived after 10 minutes and gave me a key without telling me, that I had to lock my self out and in because I was all alone at the hotel. The room they first gave me was so big that the air con could not cool it down - and on the same time the room was open to every body via a staircase - there was no way to lock it. I am not afraid of the dark but it felt strange to be all alone in a big dark house. The quality of the breakfast was much lower than normal. No fruit, no juice and no water - just some eggs without taste and dry buns. On the last morning I was told that check out time was two hours before agreed in the booking. For paying I had to go to another hotel, where she asked for cash even thoug the agreement was paying with card. To sum it up: I travelled six weeks in Colombia. This place was the most expensive outside Bogota - and on the same time the most unwelcoming and not worth the money it at all.

Beautiful simple quiet place with enormous rooms. Better than the pictures.

The accomodation is an old traditional house of Mompox. It has just a couple of rooms, a big kitchen with the basic utilities. It's not far from the touristy area and very quiet. We had the whole house for ourselves which was cool but also a little bit spooky at times. The house and the room was clean, Yasmin, who cleans the house and is in charge of breakfast, is cool and the breakfast is tasty. She doesn't stay 24 hours there, so the guests themselves are in charge of the keys of the house.

I would recommend the owners to do general renovations inside the house as dirty walls in the house don't leave a good impression. Also some deep cleaning, for example of the glass sinks and glad shower cabin walls in the room, would make the room look nicer and cosier. The bed linen was clean, but old and shabby, so buying new bed linen should be also a priority for the owner. Investing in this kind of changes world improve the aesthetical aspect of the accomodation.
