Beautiful immaculate property a short walk from the centre and we had a fabulous sea view Thanks Irene ❤️ There are a few restaurants just five minutes uphill if you don’t want to walk back into town at night to eat. Father and Son is excellent

Nothing at all

We messaged HH through the Booking.com app. as we departed an hour late due to UK wide ATC problems. They waited past 23.00. We typically ride the local bus into town to save the price of a few pints, but It's very much worth booking a transfer through the app. if arriving late. (Door to door in about 10 mins for less than £11 ! The driver at the airport was holding a sign with my name on it !)👍🏼 Our upgraded first floor room was a good sized double + single bed with dual aspect windows and black out blinds plus a small balcony with drying facilities. The furniture was very practical and all sculpted from smooth concrete. Doors and windows were very secure. Internal noise was at a minimum as the occupancy was low. The pool area was small but well maintained, shielded from the steep road buy a large wall, acting as shade in the hot afternoon. HH is in Firastefani, about a 15 minute walk down the hill to the main town, the pedestrianised area, the bus station and the meanandering Greek lanes. About 5 mins up the hill was the bus stop, look out points and the premium restaurants with caldera and sunset views. Across the road from HH, you have several good eateries, a bakery cafe and a convenience store. (I recommend Father & Son Taverna for simple Greek dishes.) Hotel Hellas was excellent value for money and frankly, accomodation a kilometer in either direction would likely set you back more than double. There's a big car park out front*. You are also on the Fira to Oia bus route. Kettle and fridge. Good plug points and lighting. Strong shower. "English" flush toilets. Good wi-fi both in the room and by the pool.

Because of Santorini's topography, if you have mobility issues this is NOT the island for you. The short dog leg driveway to the hotel entrance is a 45° gradient, with the texture of a concrete cheese grater ! Unless you have excessive luggage, I strongly suggest you get delivered to the lower corner of the big car park* and walk down a short flight of stone steps. (Look toward the small yellow church.)

Das Zimmer sowie der Pool waren super sauber! Die Gastgäbern Miss Irene war sehr nett und bemüht. Immer erreichbar und stehts bemüht zu helfen und hat uns sogar noch den ganzen Tag das Zimmer zur verfügung gestellt weil wir erst spät unseren Rückflug hatten.
