This was an excellent place for us. Central to the action in San Sebastian and close to the places we wanted to see. Unai was the perfect host and handled our very late arrival due to flight cancellation in a manner that was very gracious to us. He stepped up!!!. I recommend the place highly.

Prime location. Lovely hosts. Great apartment. They have thought of everything you might need. Apartment was very clean and well present. Beds and sofa very comfy. Can’t recommend enough 👍

The hosts were very helpful during the check-in process. When we arrived it was raining very heavily. They met us at our car with umbrellas, told us where to park and showed us the property. It was more spacious than I expected and there were plenty of towels, dishes and pans so we were easily able to cook some of our meals in the unit.

The place was a perfect size, in a fantastic location, just a few minutes walk from the beach. Unai was extremely good at communicating and very helpful. His mother showed us the place and all of its features which I found to be very helpful. A lot of bars, restaurants, and shops around it. The only thing I'd note is that the walls are very thin so if you are a light sleeper you may want earplugs, but I had no problem with it. When I return to San Seb I will definitely stay here again if it's available. 10/10 it is one of the best VRBO stays I've had.

Couldn’t get a better location. It’s central yet quiet. Plenty of space for a small family with everything you need. Check in was a breeze and communication fast

Beach Ready
We arrived at night and it wasn't until the following morning when a wet surfer strolled past the entrance that we realized how close the apartment is to the beach. The premises is spotless and the area is lively but appeared to be very safe and quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay

Perfect Location in Gros,
We had a great stay in this roomy 2-bedroom location. We enjoyed the short walk from the train/bus stations, to the Old Town district, to the beaches and to the heart of the enjoyable pintxos bars. Enjoying the local culture was very enjoyable and fun!

Great location, but a dark apartment
Unai the host is great, as is his mother who showed how to get there. The location is supurb, right between many pintxos restaurants and bars. We had the luck that it was warm during our stay, so we could walk in swim wear to the beach (only 2min walk). Also the old city is right across the bridge. The apartment Itself is basic and because it is not facing any streets (!), very dark. The only light comes from light shafts in the building complex. quite noicy too.
The bed however was comfy and the douche perfect. San Sabastian is a perfect city for a long weekend.

This apartment is in a wonderful location - super close to Playa de la Zurriola, and a quick walk across the bridge to Old Town. It is nice and clean, just as pictured, and the bed is comfy. There is no air conditioning, but there is 2 fans which helped keep the apartment cool in the hot weather. Unai's mother was able to greet us and show us where to park (about a 5 min walk away from the apartment). Although we didn't meet Unai, he was an amazing host and was very accessible to answer any questions we had, and sent through a great list of recommendations for restaurants, etc. Highly recommended! Thank you Unai :)

Live Like a Local at this Gem of an Apartment in SS!
My mother, 8 year old daughter and I kicked off an 18 day tour of Northern Spain and Southern France by staying 3 nights in this charming apartment in the Gros neighborhood of San Sebastian. Unai and his mother could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The apartment is located on a pedestrian street, so Unai's mother met us at a cross street. She helped us unload our bags and then took us to park our rental car in a nearby parking lot. The apartment was spotless and in the best and most authentic neighborhood in all of SS. Out of the 3 incredible beaches in SS, I found the one located two minutes walk from the apartment to be the best of the 3. The beds were comfortable and every need was met. Thank you Unai! We will be back next summer!

Amazing location

The apartment was in a perfect location and was within walking distance to everything. Unai was able to accommodate an earlier check-in time which was very helpful. He also arranged a taxi for us when we left San Sebastián. Thanks for being a great host!

Great place in a perfect location
The apartment is vry well located in a street in front of the Kursaal. The apartment is very well organized, with all the things needed for a stay in it. If we come back we will for sure check availability in it.

Highly recommended for its fantastic central location
On the 6th floor with smallish lift in an enclosed building (only one room has a view of the sky) , this is a fabulous little 2 BR (one comfortable queen and two single bunk beds) apartment. Four adults stayed here and it was a bit on the small side with only one bathroom. Basic but adequate supplies for cooking simple meals, dishwasher, washing machine, couch and dining table and 4 chairs provided. Wifi worked well. Apartment was clean.
Easy stroll to beaches, old city and endless array of cafes, restaurants and a couple of small supermarkets.
Owner was really helpful, meeting us in the street and guiding us to nearby underground secure parking. He supplied a couple of much needed fans as it was quite warm when we were there. He was very friendly and made us feel at home, and was responsive to any queries, thank you Unai.
Even though this apartment is on the small side, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great flat, fabulous location - highly recommended
Unai’s flat is ideally located for the beach and the old city but in the lovely and less “touristy” area of Gros. We were able to buy fresh food and bread a few steps from the door and walk to and from the surf in our bare feet. Well-equipped, clean, with a lift to the top floor if required. Unai was great with her communications and although we didn’t meet her in person, her mother and friends provided all the help we needed.

Great place, awesome location!
This was a great place. The location could have been better, right on a very cool street in the Gros section. The apartment was very quiet and well equipped. It was very warm but there were two good fans. Unai and his mom were lovely and San Sebastián is now our favorite city n Europe!
